        Good quality for the price

        Although pricey for the geographical area, it's worth it. You get what you pay for. Immaculate rooms and common areas. Then amenities are great. Attentive staff took care of all requests. The continental b'kfst is well stocked. A guest "store", the first I've seen in a Hampton, is an excellent idea. Not overpriced, and you don't need only change, the desk can handle the purchase, and it is also well stocked. Silent heat/ac system didn't drown out the TV. Plenty of guest newspapers for all in the coffee lounge. Coffee was available all day, another asset. Although this unit is still somewhat new, under 5 years old, I've seen newer units in terrible shape after only a couple years. The Hampton chain has improved tremendously in the last few years, and this is a good example. This unit's location in this town is centrally well located, with an Applebee's and Food City in the same plaza, makes it very handy. Fast food very nearby too. Walmart less than 5 minutes away. No drawbacks.
