Good luck having ANY dealings with this court house. The clerks in the window are absolutely useless. I received a ticket on West Chester pike and had the luck of dealing with these people. Long story short my license was suspended for not responding to the citation in a timely manner (my fault I know) Needless to say I eventually responded to the citation on Nov. 14. The court is to then issue a Receipt of Response to Penn Dot in order to lift the suspension for responding to the citation. Although I received paperwork saying that it was faxed on Nov. 14th THEY NEVER SENT THE PAPERWORK. On top of that the paperwork that was mailed to me from the court was NOT FINISHED omitting my name, drivers license number, and state so even if Penn Dot got it I don't know how they'd identify me. After countless time on the phone with Penn Dot I was told it could take up to 13 days for them to receive the paperwork if they sent it by mail, 1 day if it was electronically sent. I give it the benefit of the doubt and wait 14 days. Conveniently Penn Dot never received my paperwork. I call these useless clerks again to rectify the issue and I was assured that the paperwork was being faxed again (which it never was of course). Finally my court date arrives. Tuesday December 6th the judge orders for me to pay the ticket and we openly discuss a payment plan. He asked me how much money I had to put down that day I said $40 bucks. He asks me to put down $30 and $20 every week after that until the fines are paid and I agreed. I take the paperwork over to the window to begin my payment plan WITH MY $30 in hand. The window was backed up 3 people. 2 women sitting at their desks BULLSHITTING and talking to each other as if no one was standing there waiting to be helped. Finally, my invisibility cloak must've worn off and the woman decided to get up to do work. She took the paper work and the $30 and came back with a "receipt." I took that opportunity to ask her what was taking so long for my Receipt of Response to be sent to Penn Dot which is when she proceeded to tell me it was already sent which it wasn't. I had to explain the story for the 40th time and ask for additional assistance with getting this paperwork to them for the suspension to be lifted. The lady literally had to take my personal phone number down and call me several times throughout the day before she was able to fulfill the simple task. I ran out of this place in fear that the stupidity that circulates in the air in this office was contagious. A few days go by, SIX to be exact and I receive paperwork in the mail suggesting that I missed a payment on my payment plan. The paperwork was dated for LITERALLY THE DAY AFTERY COURT DATE. HOW???? I WOULDNT KNOW, BEING AS THOUGH YOU HAVE TO PUT MONEY DOWN IN THE FIRST PLACE TO EVEN BEGIN YOUR PAYMENT PLAN. I proceed to call the office again to see what the problem is. The woman asks me to call back in 10 minutes that they're dealing with a "financial issue." I ask to speak to someone else because that's not my problem whatsoever and she proceeded to tell me there was no one else to speak with there was only 2 people in the office, again not my problem. I give her her 10 minutes and call back. I ATTEMPT to address my issue over her arguing me down telling me that I never gave her money. She suggested I refer back to the receipt. Conveniently my cash deposit was never recorded onto the receipt (which I didn't notice initially) Since, I used cash there is no way that they can track the money down that I already deposited. The woman then yelled into the phone and hung up on me and never answered the phone after I called back multiple times. I talked to someone else the following day who proceeded to tell me "I don't know what to say" "I don't know what to do" So basically my $30 vanished, I have a missed payment & the senile dinosaurs behind the counter need to hang it up office work is not for you . INVESTIGAGE THIS OFFICE!!!
