        Great Beginnings Daycare was started in 1987 and since then we have provided care to hundreds of families. The staff at our centers are knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Each year staff is responsible for education training to make sure that each child that enters our center is cared for based on their individual needs.         I have sent both my children to Great Beginnings and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. Yes, the infant room is crowded but it is clean and very nurturing. The other classrooms for the children that are mobile are much larger spaces. GB does not have any Keystone Stars to my knowledge, but I believe the main reason is their teachers do not have bachelor's degrees. In my opinion you really don't need a degree to provide the warm nurturing environment that the teachers here have shown towards both of my children. Other than that, this daycare follows all state guidelines in cleanliness and child to teacher ratios. I've always been very happy with this place in the 7 years (yes 7 years!) that I've been using this center.

        Great Beginnings in Havertown ...

        Great Beginnings in Havertown is horrible exspecally in baby room two many baby's not enough help the manager there favors one worker in that room not fair to other workers I see it as a parent I took my child out bad place please don't use this center there are plenty of daycare in delco
