NO DON'T DO IT DO NOT SHOP AT FURNITURE DISTRIBUTORS (FD) HAVELOCK NC A STORE THAT THE MGR DOES NOT FOLLOW-UP AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT! AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ENGLAND FURNITURE WHO IS OWNED BY LAZYBOY UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A LOUSY COMPANY THAT THINKS IT IS FINE TO SEND YOU LOUSY DAMAGED FURNITURE THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE IN THEIR OWN HOME AND HAVE LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL. WE ORDERED AN ENGLAND FURNITURE 3 PIECE LEATHER SECTIONAL WE RECEIVED DAMAGED AND REPORTED DAMAGE DAY OF DELIVERY AND MORE A FEW DAYS LATER.. WE WERE TOLD BY DEE THAT THE FD HAVELOCK NC STORE MGR SAID WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY A HIGH RESTOCKING FEE SINCE WE DID NOT REPORT RIGHT AWAY. THAT WAS A WRONG THING TO TELL ME BECAUSE IT WAS NOT TRUE. I TOLD MY HUSBAND AND HE WAS FURIOUS. HE LEFT WORK EARLY AND WENT UP THERE THE DAY I WAS TOLD THAT TO GIVE THEM A PIECE OF HIS MIND AND TO HAVE THEM PICK THE LEATHER SECTIONAL UP. WELL I WANTED TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO CORRECT IT BECAUSE I LIKED THE SECTIONAL (I LIKED THE STYLE AND COLOR). I AM SORRY I DID THAT NOW BECAUSE ALL WE GOT IS THE RUN AROUND FROM FURNITURE DISTRIBUTORS HAVELOCK NC. WHAT THEY DID WAS SEND OUT A YOUNG MAN WHO COULD NOT GET GOOD PHOTOS AND YOU COULD TELL HAD VERY LITTLE EXPERIENCE IN DAMAGED LEATHER. ALTHOUGH HE WAS NICE AND POLITE HE WAS JUST DOING WHAT HE WAS SENT OUT TO DO. WE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT THIS WAS A DELAY TACTIC. WHAT A SHAME. WELL WHAT THE OUTCOME OF THAT WAS IS I ENDED UP SENDING DEE PHOTOS I TOOK THAT WERE BETTER AND SHE SUPPOSEDLY SENT THEM TO THEIR ENGLAND FURNITURE MARKETING REP. AND HE SUPPOSEDLY SENT THEM TO SUPPOSEDLY SOMEONE IN A HIGHER POSITION AT ENGLAND FURNITURE. THEN THE FD HAVELOCK SALES MGR CALLED MY HUSBAND TO TELL US THAT ENGLAND FURNITURE WANTS TO MAIL US TWO LEATHER SEAT COVERS. OUR FIRST QUESTION IS COULD THEY MATCH THE LEATHER SINCE PROBABLY NOT FROM THE SAME DYE LOT. HE CLIAMED YES. WE BOUTH KNEW BETTER BUT WANTED TO AT LEAST GIVE THEM A CHANCE & SEE WHAT HAPPENS. JUST MAYBE IT WILL BE OK. WE DID NOT THINK ABOUT HOW THOSE SEAT COVERS WOULD BE MAILED TO US BUT FIGURED PUT ON FORMS OR MAYBE WOULD JUST SEND US ACTUAL NEW SEAT CUSHIONS. NEITHER OF WHICH ENDED UP HAPPENING. WHAT HAPPENED PROVES THAT ENGLAND FURNITURE IS NOT A GOOD FURNITURE MANUFACTURING COMPANY AT ALL. WE THEN GOT THEM DELIVERED BY THE YOUNG MAN THAT WAS SENT OUT TO TK PHOTOS OF DAMAGE & HE REMOVED BOTH OF THEM FROM A SMALL SQUARE BOX. WE WERE SO AMAZED THEY WERE STUFFED IN SUCH A SMALL BOX. NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY BOTH WERE WRINKLED BEYOND BELIEF. OFCOURESE WE TURNED THOSE DOWN AND TOLD HIM THIS WAS HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE. HE TOLD US HE WOULD GO TO STORE AND TELL THEM THAT. SO FAR NO RESPONSE FROM THE MGR OF THE STORE OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU WANT CUSTOMERS TO RETURN TO ORDER MORE AND SPEND MORE MONEY AND GIVE YOUR COMPANY A GOOD REFERRAL. THE MANAGER OF THE FURNITURE DISTRIBUTORS SHOULD HAVE STEPPED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT, CALLED ENGLAND FURNIUTURE PERSONALLY AND TOLD THEM TO MAKE US A NEW LEATHER SECTIONAL AND BE SURE TO INSPECT IT FOR DAMAGES BEFORE BRINGING IT TO THEM. THEN THE MGR SHOULD HAVE APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, HAVE THE NEW SECTIONAL DELIVERED AND PICKED UP THE DAMAGED LEATHER SECTIONAL. THAT IS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS AND MAKE MONEY AND STAY IN BUSINESS. OTHERWISE YOU GET YOUR $4000 FROM US AND WE NEVER RETURN AND WE GO ONLINE WITH BAD REFERRALS WHICH WILL STOP MOST FROM SHOPPING AT YOUR STORE, GO ONLINE TO BBB RALEIGH TO FILE A COMPLAINT THAT OTHERS WILL SEE BECAUSE IT IS STILL UNRESOLVED, TELL OTHERS IN OUR NEIBHORHOOD, FRIENDS, FAMILY, CO-WORKERS ALL ABOUT OUR BAD EXPERIENCE AND EVEN SHOW THEM WHY THEY SHOULD NOT SHOP OR ORDER FROM FD HAVELOCK NC.

Was pleasantly surprised to find such a broad selection at great prices! Beautiful showroom and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Provided by SuperpagesI bought a special order sofa here and am very pleased. They have a huge selection, but I needed something very specific and they were ableto help me. It arrived when they said it would, the delivery went smoothly and the selection and choices were great. All the staff was pleasant to work with. Very happy with my purchase and the price that I paid!
