This is an exciting, growing and God powered church! This church has really helped me grow as a follower of Jesus. The people here are very down to earth and always are encouraging me or praying for me. And the accusation that this church is only interested in your money is completely false. I make close to nothing and they don't treat me any less as a person. If you want a church that has an engaging worship service, strong Biblical teaching and a tight knit community committed to loving each other this is the place for you.

I'm actually excited to go to church on Sunday morning!

Movement is turning 2 yrs old soon and my family has been part of it for about half of that. I have never experienced any of the "problems" that were mentioned in some of these old reviews. We have always felt welcomed from the beginning and have never encountered anything negative. In fact, it is quite the opposite. It is a positive, uplifting environment, that is perfect for your family to learn about Jesus and meet new people. It's a casual, friendly place that helps people clearly understand what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. Does the church have problems? Yes. Good problems! Like they are growing so steadily that they are outgrowing their current facility. You can see that something special is going on here when you pull up and the parking lot is packed! They have to add extra seating sometimes because of the growth. I have seen them double in size since we started going. I hear they are in the process of expanding or possiblhy moving to a bigger building. God is clearly blessing this church. That would not be happening if they weren't doing things correctly and with excellence. I also read a review that said something negative about the music, and that is just a silly statement. The worship band is great and they seem to work really hard week to week to make sure they are able to actually worship on stage and not just read music from a stand. I'm just saying, it makes a huge difference. They keep it relevant, which is what I appreciate the most. Pastor Troy finds a way to relate to you each week, and you can tell that he actually knows and cares about what is going on in his congregation. As a member of Movement, I was to encourage you to come be part of something special that God is doing in our community.

I write this with Joy and Love in my heart. I've been attending Movement for some time and In regards to the bad reviews, it's a scary thing that Satan could pull the wool over these people's eyes so they don't see what God is doing through this amazing Church. I love this place, I feel so welcomed. There are people at this church in slacks and dresses and people who are in shorts and tee-shirts. It's really a place anyone can come and be part. But the Bible says religious people even had a problem with Jesus, so it's no surprise people would have a problem with a growing, thriving church. It is true that I hear them talk about numbers at Movement, but the numbers are numbers of people that are starting relationships with Jesus almost ever week! I love hearing those numbers! This church has made a huge impact on my life and I see the staff pray for the offering almost every week and encourage people to obey God's Word about tithing back to God. I'm sure when someone teaches what the Bible says about an idol($$$) in people's lives, they will have an issue with that, but ultimately they have a problem with the Bible and God, because He said it. The church is healthy because it was a planted almost 2 years ago and they are growing rapidly because they are helping people in their community grow closer to God and to each other. I'm just thankful that their is a church like this one in my community. As far as the staff being self centered, I see them serving other people and investing in people every week, praying for them. I know the Pastor Troy has other staff member speak and take the offering, so he teaches us, it's not all about him. So unfortunately their have been some deceived people with agenda's leaving negative reviews, the problem is they have attacked me, because this is my church, a church is the people in it, not just one person. But what do you expect when people can leave anonymous messages, they could be anyone; from previous staff with sin in their lives, or people who want to make other churches look better for whatever reason. I would recommend taking anonymous reviews with a grain of salt and come experience with an open heart the amazing things that are happening in this loving, growing, exciting and Christ centered church.

My wife and I visited Movement...

My wife and I visited Movement recently and we were both saddened at the fact that no one even attempted to welcome us. I completely relate to the previous comment when he/she stated, "the pastor is more about the numbers". And again, I completely agree- I too thought the pastor was so arrogant. Not once (in his so-called message) did he bring up any scripture. Just when you think "it could get better"- it doesn't. We were just itching to leave. My wife summed up our Sunday morning as we were heading out to the car when she told me, "we were simply two check marks on a roll sheet". Needless to say, we will not be attending this establishment again.

In conclusion, will someone please tell the worship director that he is not a rock star. The most annoying worship that I have ever encountered.

I respectfully disagree with the previous review. My family is in no way well off, we are humble blue collar people and we have ALWAYS felt welcome at Movement. Pastor Troy, or the pastor like the previous reviewer called him, I'm sure Pastor Troy did at least bother to learn his name, has always been very open and accessible to everyone at the church. We had never met anyone at this church prior to out first visit and absolutely every single member made us feel welcome. The allegation that this church is only interested in money is proposterous, never give a penny to this church and see if you are treated any different. This is a church where GOD is first, I am sorry that you felt unwelcome and completely understand that this may not be the church for you, however this church has always made it clear that they are not a social club, they are here to honor, worship and teach about our Lord.

The Movement in the wrong direction

Since when is church all about numbers. Since when is demanding so much out of your youth that you cause them to be depressed? I mean honestly I have visited the church a couple times and have meet only a handful of people who I would honestly say have a caring heart. This isn't a review about bashing the church, it's about calling it what it is. The youth "minister" has no idea what he's doing. I feel like he has the right intentions but honestly wouldnt feel safe with my kids being around him. The preacher is really self centered and seems like he is more about the numbers and offerings than the congregation. The church its self is nice small but in good shape. There is no parking spaces. The signs showing you how to get to the church are confusing the logo makes you think you turn right but your suppose to turn left. I was raised that only God is to judge, but I feel as if the move ment feels like they have the right to judge and bring down the people that need a church and that need a relationship with Christ. Instead it's about who came with the pastor from whereever be came from and who has money. Other than that feel free to try this church out. Maybe is just me and my family that just felt like outsiders because we don't meet the status quo for this church!
