The Harrisonville Early Childhood Center provides flexible academic programs with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The center serves students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs. It offers classes in art, music and physical education. The Harrisonville Early Childhood Center has an annual enrollment of more than 160 students. The center also maintains a parent-teacher organization that assists students, parents, teachers and other school personnel to foster student potential, enhance student achievement and prevent personal difficulties. It is governed by the Harrisonville Cass R-IX School District, which additionally manages Harrisonville High School, Harrisonville Middle school, Harrisonville Elementary School and McEwon Elementary School, as well as the Cass Career Center. The district s schools maintain a library that provides books, magazines, reference materials, and online search engines and databases. Its schools also offer a variety of programs, including field trips and counseling sessions. The Harrisonville Early Childhood Center is located in Harrisonville, Mo.
