I was having a problem with my remote start and keyless entry. It didn't purchase the system from them and I've had the unit for 6 years now. I brought the car to them and within 25-30 minutes the problem was diagnosed. They ordered two new remotes for my car, reprogrammed them and it's working again! (good as new!). Sound FX is the place to go. They are extremely knowledgable in car stereo/electronics. Don't think twice, just give them a call!!

This place is my go to for any sort of car part or questions. You are always greeted at the door and assisted in finding exactly what you are looking for. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work shows. Anytime i have had something installed, i have been nothing less than impressed. This place is one of a kind; a specialty shop that pretty much does it all. I gladly support Sound FX and recommend anyone to stop in.

Have had several different high end vehicles worked on ranging from performance parts to audio. This shop focuses on mostly audio and cosmetics, but the employees and owner John are very diversified and do exceptional work. I've had performance parts installed on my twin turbo BMW and never had any issues. Also had audio, and several parts hardwired on my most recent vehicle a brand new e class coupe. The parts ended up being priced much less then anywhere else I shopped around. The install was perfect to where you wouldn't even be able to recognize any modifications unless you knew exactly what your looking for. Also everything is warrantied to the point where I cracked a rim a couple months after i purchased them and Johns wife Kim(Also an owner) warrantied it anyway and replaced it with a brand new one.Bottom line is that this shop is filled with very qualified employees and can do any type of work desired.Just the fact of how competent this shop really is, is amazing.Deff worth it!

Have been upgrading my high end vehicles here for the past 5 years. They've done both cosmetic work including custom boxes to fiberglass door speakers and exterior body work from HID's to aftermarket wheels to both a Porsche and two previous Mercedes that I've owned. Did I mention they also installed many aftermarket performance parts effectively that never caused any mechanical issues.(Thx to Eddie) Also the prices were extremely fair and the service was outstanding. Even when I couldn't fit an appointment in my schedule they would pick up my vehicle and drop it back off by the end of the day. Any issues I ever had were immediately taken care of and John the owner is the best custom aftermarket installer in the tristate area that I know. His partner/wife Kim will design anything you can possibly imagine at a low cost considering the high quality of work produced. At the end of the say SoundFX is just a very competent shop that I rate FIVE STARS and will always be a dedicated customer!

I have been a long time customer here. Top notch staff and very kowledgable with great prices and excellent service. Kim and John know everything about audio and electronics for all vehicles and Eddie is my performance guy, does a perfect job on my car every time i bring it in. Had a remote start installed in my mothers car for the holidays... Works great, exsplained everything.. Great customer service.. would highly reccommend.
