Hammond Harley-Davidson

Terrible service department. I ordered a part for my bike and it took weeks to get an appointment to have the part installed. I was asked to drop my bike off early if I could in case they could get to it early. When I dropped it off the service writer said they would be able to do the job in one day and after I signed the paperwork he told me they would get to it in four or five days. When they finished the last job the bike sat for 2 days before the tech test rode it. I know it was done because the service writer showed it to me sitting there finished. I called and stopped in couple of times and got the run around about when it would be completed. These guys will tell you one thing on the phone and then something else after they have your bike. Every time they have worked on my bike there has been an extra charge that they forgot to tell me about when I dropped it off. The service manager is rude and bad mouths employees in front of customers. I will not be doing business there any more. Their bike sales practices are even worse. The finance manager Steve will tell you one thing and then put something else on paper. Trying to buy a bike there felt like a shady used car lot. I walked away from the deal and I cannot in good conscience recommend Hammond Harley to anyone. I posted a review to Hammond Harley's website and it was removed. I have talked to more than one manager about the way they do business and it seems to fall on deaf ears.
