Recently had a softner/Iron filter system put in by Advanced Water Treatment and all I can say is "IT'S FANTASTIC"... Everything about Adavanced was great. Ray McConnel came to our house to hear our concerns with our water. He did all his necessary testing and told us what we needed to buy. Now Ray was not a pushy salesman he told us what we needed to correct the problems we had and thats it. He gave estimates on the other things I had questions about but was in no way telling me I needed it. Once we decided to go with Advanced they promptly schedualed us for installation. I beleive the owner and his father came to do the install. They wer great. They explained what they were doing and the install was very professional and Clean. After having the system installed we noticed a change in the water about 1 hour after they left. Our major issue was the smell of sulfer in the water. It was completely gone 1 hour after the system was installed. It has been a couple months since it was installed and Ray has been out to the house to check everything and change some of the factory settings to more real world situation. You will get great customer service when you deal with Advanced. My wife and I could not be happier. Please choose Advanced water Treatment if you are looking for a water system. Like I told Ray... Advanced Water was recommended to me by a friend when we moved to an area where municipal water was not available. We have used them for over 20 years and found them to be reasonably priced with great service. We recently replaced our water softener 19 years after the first one we had installed by them died. When we had them replace the unit with a new one, they were punctual, courteous and cleaned up afterwards.

A year ago my old water softener broke and was spraying water all over my basement. The guys from advanced water treatment were the first to come out. Not only did they ultimately sell me a softener, but they fixed the pipes so I could have water until we made our decision on which company to go with. Now, a year later they called me to schedule the free annual maintenance check. They did a great job during the sales process and didn't run away after they got my check.

The company handled the replacement of our water softener in a prompt and efficient manner. They even cleaned up after themselves! In addition, I appreciated the follow up calls from the company, they take pride in their work and wanted to know how the new system was running.

I'm a retired medical doctor now living in the Pinckney area, and unfortunately my background did not prepare me for some of the complexities of arsenic removal from well water. I also had the misfortune of previously dealing with a very large, rather well known company which was more interested in selling me more pipes and filters, than assuring me healthy water to drink.

My luck and fortune changed, as I happened to call Brad Haskin at Advance Water Treatment. Now I have water that is better than ever -- no household filter to change, no iron, or other toilet bowl stains to contend with. Also, I will not have to go my own personal doctor to have urine and blood samples drawn again.

He did the installation himself, the costs were competitive for his work and materials, and as of 10-5-12 I'm very satisfied. He is obviously experienced at what he does, there were no hiccups at installation, and no so-called extra charges.

Recently my father was having problems with iron and arsenic in his house water. Since he has problems with his memory, I was asked to be the liason in solving the problem. I contacted Advanced and was pleased with thier work and thier response. They kept in close communication through the process. My background is in chemistry and I was please that the owner was able to communicate highly technical information in a detailed way that made sense to me...translation....he knows his stuff. The technicians were forced to communicate everything twice (once to my dad) and again to me and they handled this potentially annoying situation with professionalism. Furthermore, they have solved the problem and were able to provide several alternative solutions in different price ranges. I would call them again.

We recently purchased a new home that has a private well. Never having lived with well water we did not know what to expect. The water was pretty bad with staining and spotting. I called several companies to get quotes on a water treatment system. This was a very confusing process as we got different suggestions on how to treat our water from each company. Advanced Water Treatment was the only company that took the time to show us exactly why we needed what they were recommending and explain the process so we could understand it. Finally! The water in my house is free of hardness, iron, arsenic, bad taste & the foul odor, thanks to the folks at Advanced Water Treatment. Our water was awful! I had driven by Advanced Water Treatment on M-36 in Hamburg for many years and told myself I would check them out the next time I was in the market for a water softener.



We recently (9 weeks ago) downsized to a condo in Brighton and had a high sensitivity to have good clean, soft, odor-free water. Hence, the shopping began for a high quality water softener.

I started with a list of 5 water softener companies. I listened to the merits of each company and their respective products. Prices varied from low, medium & high.



After talking with Brad the list became very short. Brad talked about the quality of the equipment and showed (with hands on) how the system worked with its limited moving parts. Brad claimed the Care Soft Pro RC would produce water at every tap similar to the charcoal filtered water we poured out of the white container (with the small $5 charcoal filter) from the refrigerator. Once I made my purchase decision I called Brad and scheduled the install for the next day.

I was pleasantly surprised when Brad and his assistant showed up, on time to install the unit.

Installation was fast (less than 90 minutes) and clean. When a few dribbles of water came out when the pipe was modified the assistant was quick to suck it up with their shop vacuum that was standing by. When they finished I had a working water softener full of solar salt.

The water softener is everything I expected and more. The water at every tap is like drinking Brita filtered water. Our clothes have never been as clean as they are now. The unit cycles based on usage (1000 gallons) or every 10 days, whichever occurs first. Everything Brad claimed about the product and AWT service has proven to be true.



I highly recommend Advanced Water Treatment and would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

My husband and I purchased a water softener from one of these companies that promised us great quality water at out new home, we went with this other company because the cost was cheaper then the other quotes that e received. After 3 years our brand new tile and showers were ruined with what looked like rust. We contacted Advanced Water by recommendation of our neighbor (who built their house att he same time as us and had ZERO issues to date) and Brad came out and ran a test on our water. Brad did a much more extensive test on out water and found that the equipment that we purchased when our home was new, though cheap, was not sized properly for the water that we had in our home. My husband and I decided to purchase a new Evolve series water treatment system from Brad and our water quality in our home has never been better and we haven’t seen a spot of rust since. It has been over a year and still have not had a issue or spot of rust. Brad was just out here on his annual follow up appointment and everything tested out perfect.



I wish that we spent the money upfront with Advanced Water Treatment, It would have saved us hours of cleaning and hundreds in bathroom fixture repair.

After 10 years and three different companies that could not solve my problem. Advanced water treatment took the time to listen to me, explain everything they were doing and track down exactly what was going on with our water and how to fix it.

We can't be happier. Our water and water pressure is the best we've had since we lived here. I would recommend them highly.

Advanced Water Treatment was a wonderful company to deal with. I called 2 other companies to come out and neither of them showed up when they were said they would and when they got there all they wanted to do was sell me something. Brad came out and was very knowledgeable about the producet and was able to repair it on the same visit. Brad was there when he said he was going to be there and did a great job at a reasonable price. I would use them again.
