Dishonest - do not waste your time or money

I purchased a Groupon for a gel mani-pedi and attempted to make an appointment numerous times with no response. The website they provide to make an appointment does not allow you to do so and she will not return your calls. I had to actually contact Groupon for them to get in touch with her. After customer care contacted her I was giving her a deadline of three business days to communicate with me she finally did. We set an appointment and the same day she cancelled on me. She said she would get back with me and weeks past and I never heard back. Scammer, do not waste your time or money!

Edith what ever her name is, she and her so called business are very unprofessional,no one answers the business so called line, instead she texts back in forth from different numbers acting like a psycho until I advised they were harassing me,so I saved all those texts for the authorities if needed!only picking a rating cause yp requires and I will be reporting to bbb as well

Guess WHAT LADY we don't have to go to your whack so called BUSINESS or WASTE our MONEY or TIME to get treated this way! So you seriously need to learn some CLASS and CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ya'll should all probably make some complaints to Groupon as well as the BBB and whomever else that we can. This is the WORST place EVER! The rating is seriously a ZERO!

This is the type of business that just screams scam! what nail salon do you need to back your appointment by a credit card, Don't ever expect a call back because she's too busy to actually call anyone. Hope if you request a call back you have the ability of texting or you will never here back. Tells me I must keep checking website to book an appointment & if none is available that she must be booked for the 30 days to keep checking back. This is not a customer friendly site, business woman or business & should be avoided.

So I too purchased the Groupon and had trouble scheduling since the website had no appointments for 8 weeks out. I went to my appointment (8 weeks later) and walked in to find an aloof Edith. Her first comments to me were that I should have already taken my gel polish off before coming to see her, I'm sorry professional nail salons take it off for me. Then she put enough tin foil over my fingers to wrap leftovers for a week. It took her 2 hours to remove the polish and apply new polish. The polish she put on is all over my cuticles and other skin around my finger nails. I went in with longish rounded nails and came out with very short, square nails. She complained about her life/husband/family or tried to impress me with whom she has worked on in the past and how she is an x-ray tech. She even told me that she did not contact Groupon they contacted her. She could give manicures for free and I wouldn't go back.

To whom it may concern. The nail services at Bella Body Oils are by appointment only as it clearer states on the website. If, you've purchased a deal through Groupon they have a link to the company's website. I have learned over time some choose not to read the fine print and others feel it should not apply to them. I am fair to ALL with my scheduling. Scheduling must be done online. I am not a corner nail spa. I DO NOT answer the phone while servicing clients. I have a website and I offer online scheduling that is available 24/7. The only advice I can offer is......take the time to completely read the terms and conditions / policies before you purchase great deals.... practice patience when scheduling an appointment for a great deal (I'm sure others purchased the deal as well) and treat & talk to others with respect. I was once told by someone wiser " if you bite someone they might bite you back ". Happy Smelling, Bella Body Oils

Edith is, in the parlance of our times, batsh*t crazy.

As other reviewers here have noted, I purchased a groupon and attempted to book an appointment online. There were no bookings available through the end of next month, so thinking it was a technical issue, I called her business number.

Instead of picking up the phone and calling me back as one would expect, she proceeded to spam me with a 1000+ character text message explaining how to book an appointment online (which I had already done). I texted her back explaining the situation. She spammed me again with the instructions. I asked her to stop spamming me. She forward back to me my message requesting to stop spamming me/her.

At this point I checked the groupon site again. 580 groupons sold and she is an individual operator, and the groupons are only good through February 27, 2014. Assuming people don't simply give up on their bookings, which they most likely expected to fullfill within the next few months, she would have to complete at least 5 groupon appointments per day to even have a chance at meeting this volume.

I asked her about this via text message, but I guess math is not her strong suit as she FINALLY called me back, yelled at me for a minute straight, and hung up the phone.

In short, if you want your nails done by a crazy woman 3-5 months later than the time you bought your groupon, this is an excellent place to go. For the rest of civilized society, I would try another business.

what a joke!

So if u book and appointment and u receive a confirmation email that day for the service u booked and u get sent a reference number I guess that is irrelevant and doesn't mean u have a booking according to Edith. And she clearly couldn't care less and instead just says I booked it incorrectly on her system which is the only option u have to book seeing as she doesn't answer her phone or call you back. Thanks for the snotty text message Edith. I wouldn't bother going to this salon unless u have a groupon but even then I would just get my money back because its not really worth it because the salon inside isn't that nice either. Went there before using living social and funny there was no problem with my appointment then. Edith there is too much competition out there for you to treat customers the way u do and think that they will want to come to your salon again after that.

Horrific experience

I purchased a groupon for a mani/pedi. Booking the appointment online was difficult, the only available appointments were well over a month out. I was finally able to refresh the screen and get an appointment two weeks out. To my error-I did not put my groupon access number on the appointment, instead I wrote groupon only. When I arrived at my appointment today I was discouraged by the exterior of the building. I walked to the door and found it locked. After knocking on the door, another customer came up. They had purchased this on groupon as well. I tried both calling and texting the number on the sign with no answer. About five minutes later a woman came to the door. I explained that I had an appointment scheduled at noon. She quickly cut me off and said I did not, that she had contacted me yesterday regarding the lack of groupon number. I apologized and asked how she had contacted me, to which she replied I didn't have to contact you, it was a courtesy. Again, I asked how she contacted me, she eventually said by text (I did not receive a text from anyone unknown yesterday). I explained this, the woman literally started waving her hands and put them in my face. I went to ask another question and she cut me off. I then said, there was no need to be rude, I was trying to get the specifics so when I contacted groupon I would have my information correct. She rolled her eyes, and said go ahead and contact groupon. At this point, I was frustrated and said I wanted to have the information so they understand the type of business she is running, to which she said whatever, I have a client and shut/locked the door in my face. Groupon was amazing when I called. I've never had an issue like this and will happily use their services again. That being said, Edith with bella body oils/nails will not be someone I would ever consider doing business with again. I'm truly shocked that in a professional environment a woman would behave in such a disrespectful and aggressive way. I'm in my thirties, a teacher and actively involved within my community and up until today I have never had an adult put their hands in my face. Deal or no deal-I would stay away from the establishment on Denton highway in Haltom City as well as this manicurist.

Definitely BEWARE to check the appointment dates before you buy. You will end up with a manicure a month out. I had the same experience. The entire experience with the website, trying to schedule an appointment, and the owner's tone in resolving the issues were very unpleasant in so many ways and I haven't even met her. It was unbelievably disappointing and she's completely unprofessional. The service was already terrible. By the time you get through the hurdles, why would you even want her working on your nails? Unbelievable. No mani/pedi is worth this kind of service. Very very disappointing!!!
