Len the Plumber

Thong Hung came to my home to help with my plumbing problem. My son flushed a race car down the toilet and Mr. Hung was very professional and kind while fixing the issue. He arrived at my house about an hour after calling, he answered all of my questions (and I had a lot), and didn’t mind when my little one poked his head into the bathroom to see what was going on. I am so pleased with the service I received and will be using Len The Plumber for my future plumbing needs because of Thong Hung’s exceptional work.

MULTIPLE PROBLEMS AND NO CALL BACK IN OVER 2 MONTHS!In December 2015 we had Len the Plumber put up an acrylic shower to replace our tile that was in serious need of being redone. We were told by the technician that it would be at least 1K more to get someone to come out and retile it so we went with the acrylic that they had. They could only get it for us in white which did not match the rest of our fixtures but we just wanted our shower back after sharing with the kids for 2 years. We were told that part of the drywall would be removed and the flange from the top and edges of the shower would go into the studs and we would be responsible for repairing the drywall or hiring someone to do that. After the work was done we found out that we could have had the tile replaced for about $200.00 more than what we paid for the acrylic which I firmly expressed in the beginning that I didnt want. Now, since Len the Plumber doesnt do tiling I have to wonder if I was told it would be so much more money so that I would hire them and not a tile company. Shame on me for not doing more research.After the shower was installed I noticed that one entire side was installed over the drywall and not under as I was told. The technician and his supervisor came out and I was told that they had to do it this way so as not to destroy the firewall between our townhouse and the next one. In the end they paid for the drywall person to come out and fix all of the drywall. Since they had to put drywall on the entire wall where it was installed over the original fire retardant drywall my bathroom door no longer opens all the way. I relatively minor inconvenience but I do feel it was not done right.I also noticed when I first saw the installation that the caulking that was done looked horrible. There were spots about an inch long that were completely missed and there was extra caulk that I had to scrape off of the acrylic. I was told by the supervisor that the caulk was really just an aesthetic thing and the unit was self-sealing so no water should leak out of the shower. I said if it was aesthetic why did it look so bad? The supervisor suggested that once the drywall was complete I should call and they could come out and redo the caulking. Before that happened I noticed a couple of cracks in the acrylic unit. As it was still under warranty they arranged for someone from another company to come make the repair. I was satisfied with the repair. I was told by the repair person that the unit likely cracked because it was not installed correctly and he said that the unit never should have been caulked at all. He pointed out how now there was built up soap scum in the areas that were missed with caulk and now brown goo was draining into the showers floor plan.I have been placing calls to Len the Plumber for well over 2 months now and no one has returned a single one of my calls. Robin at the call center has been very helpful passing on messages and she has let them know, once I started calling weekly, that this was now an urgent matter and their customer was extremely upset. Still no call. I appreciate that they paid for the drywall repair but it needed significant repair due to how the unit was installed. I also appreciate that they arranged for the repair of the cracks although it was still under warranty it was nice to not have to make that call. I do not understand why they couldnt complete a simple caulking job and why no one has returned any of my many calls over a span of over 2 months. It seems that once the bill is paid they are not as attentive to their customers. I will not be using Len the Plumber again and I would advise anyone considering them to do their research before-hand.

Tony Stango came by just to help us with a leaky faucet, we weren't quite comfortable doing ourselves being new homeowners. He ended up catching an issue with a pressure valve we would never have seen that was the cause of a number of different problems in our house. He was very kind and polite, and took the time to educate us on what was wrong, what needed to be replaced/fixed, and what to look out for in the future. He provided the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of, and I will not hesitate to recommend him to all friends, family, and neighbors in the area!

Tony was very helpful in determining that it may not be a well pump problem because I didn't have electricity going to the well. Was very thankful he was truthful and honest and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

First and foremost, Rema was very approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful in giving us information on our plumbing problem. We want to commend him for a job well done. Because of Rema's knowledge, ability and understanding, we are going to make Len the Plumber our #1 service provider. In the future, if we ever need another service from your institution, we ask that you send us Rema, he is one of your best. We will highly recommend Len the Plumber to friends and family members.

I have heard of Len the Plumber from television/radio ads and had a feeling they were a reputable and ethical service provider. I called this morning and was immediately connected with someone who I discussed my plumbing problem with and she gathered my information. Within 5 minutes, I was called again by the dispatch person and my provider (Rick Martin) was here within the hour. He was so professional and personable and I couldn't have asked for a better provider. He cleaned one of my shower drains and installed a new toilet as well. He wrote a very detailed report of the issues I was having and the repairs that were made. Rick is very knowledgable and I am certain that all the repairs that were done were necessary in order to fix my problem. I am so impressed by the service that was provided (from the initial call to the very end) and would recommend Len the Plumber to anyone!

We had Len the Plumber out to the house over labor day weekend. The service was the best we have ever had. Knowledgeable and gave us a few plumbing tips as we're doing work in the house. I really can't say enough about the team. Thanks very much for all the great support.

August 6, 2015 was the first time I received the services of Len The Plumber. A technician was sent on the same day of my service request. Lee McClymont was the technician who completed the service. Lee arrived promptly on the scheduled time. He was courteous and confident. After explaining my plumbing needs, Lee assessed each task and walked me through the problems and the solutions. Lee explained possible hurdles and, should it be necessary, the plan of attack for the solution. My plumbing needs were accomplished without issue. I highly recommend Len The Plumber and you're fortunate enough to have Lee McClymont as your servicing technician I guarantee you will be in good hands.

I've used Len The Plumber on a couple of occasions and I've been very satisfied with their work. Plumbers aren't cheap, but with Len The Plumber, I know the job will be done correctly.

This is the worst plumbing company ever. They do NOT stand by their offer of same day emergency service. They will make you wait 2-3 days even for an emergency. They don't give a crap about the customers. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Again, WORST company ever.

Excellent service repeatedly- technician explained each step of procedure and fixed faucet very quickly and efficiently.

We made an appointment online and received a call within a few hours to schedule an appointment. The job entailed a very messy sewer repair, but the service repairman took on the job and completed it by himself within 2 days with hardly any disruption to our lives. Highly recommend for several reasons: they came on time, they suggested several other repairs or replacements that I was not aware of and were very necessary due to the age and wear of my sump pump and water heater and then they cleaned up after themselves!
