Manny's Original Chop House

Not sure why there is so much hate on Manny’s! Phenomenal food, consistently great service, and reasonable prices. If there’s a complaint it’s that it’s hard sometimes to get a seat, but that’s just because they’re popular! We eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed.

This is a mixed review. Many's loses one star for the funky tasting water, one star for the long wait to get our food, and one for not informing me my side was out until it was time to bring out our food. However, they get a star back for great service. Sarina, our waitress, was nice enough to make up for my missing side by mashing up a baked potato and adding the loaded to it (although I wouldn't have minded the loaded white cheddar mac and cheese), along with letting us out the side door so my niece and nephew could see the lizard on the window. The place was nice enough (especially the map of the us made of license plates), just not for me.

They have always been very nice to us and the food quality is consistent. Always use call ahead seating to avoid long waits especially during the snow bird season

I just moved in the area and if this is how they treat there customers I wont be eating at the restaurant !!!!! I don't want to eat at place that can have such a rude staff.

I was waited on by George and after my meal. (which the steak was under cook and the veggie over cooked). Anyway after the meal I asked George for a cup to go for my ice tea, i take about 6 different meds after my meal and prefer to take them in the car so no one looks at me taking the pills.( bathroom is to small) As i asked George for a to go cup he said , that he would not be able to give me one but i can asked the mgr Jen for one . So I walked up to Jen(mgr) and asked for a to go cup.! She was standing with a hostess dressed in black jen said "YES you can have one "You need to go to the bar and asked them for one they have them there . JEN MGR then looked at the other hostess standing next to her and laughed as if i was a joke. I went to the bar and the another hostess in black was at the bar and I asked for a to go cup JEN the MGR said Yes i tell her" i was stunned when this hostess begin YELLING at me in front of other guest sitting at the bar i could not believe the way she was yelling at me i just stood there i then look ed back at JEN MGR and she was laughing . I was set up for the entertainment of the staff . How rude, I just turned my back and went back to my seat . told my husband i needed to sit in the car.... All i wanted was a small cup to put my ice tea in to take pills. thats it !I was not drinking any thing else just ice tea.

I was set up to be jerked around Yelled at in front of other people . . I was on my way to Jacksonville 3 hour drive. they had cups for togo. Thanks "Manny nice staff you should be pround of how you trained them'
