Haines City Pet Hospital

If I could of given this company zero stars I would have. We had to use them for both our dogs. The first dog the doctor told us that she needed 2 antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory. Come to find out the doctor lied, because she put our dog on a steroid. The other dog all they saw was dollar signs. In two visits they charged us almost $600.00. The doctor requested a follow up visit and the front desk charged us for every visit.
On top of everything the staff ruined personal property and acted like they did nothing wrong.
Having an appointment doesn't mean anything to them. Both visits they were late 2 hours on taking our dogs back. Also I found out that as soon as they take your dog in all they do is place the dog in a kennel. The back area is just an open room that is dirty with kennels along the wall.
Think twice before your use this place. I am on the hunt for a new vet for all 8 of our animals.

After relocating to Florida with my nine-year-old Maltese I am happy to say that I found a fantastic veterinarian. The staff is wonderful with your babies; they are caring, compassionate and loving. Dr. Martinez shows the love of her profession with the care she offers our babies. I highly recommend Haines city pet hospital for all your needs.

Every time I have an appointment I am kept waiting for over an hour. I was put in a room where a cat with a severe flea infestation had been right before , us my dogs went home with fleas. The doctor was not Martinez,who I usually see.

I would highly recommend Dr. Martinez to everyone I know. My cat got poisoned by over the counter topical flea meds and I took her in after calling the clinic. They took her back right away, put her into a dark room and a large cage with bedding and water (to ease the twitching), and observed her for about eight hours. She came through well and everyone was very kind and professional. The doctor is very caring and the price was low compared to other vets in the area. It's not a fancy establishment, but the level of care was excellent and the staff were all excellent, too.

I would highly recommend this vet to anyone who is in the nearby area. The staff seems to be very caring and understanding and they make it a lot more affordable to get your pet the care it needs. Keep up the great work!

I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. They are nothing like Larry Adkins was, they are all about padding a bill only to tell you they don't know what is wrong. I referred many family and friends until now with the new vets. They put a bad splint on and charge you to come back. Then they put the second one on and the dogs foot swells up terrible. They say take it off and come back in 2 days! It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. They did not fully explain my pet's condition to me, because they didn't know. A lot of guess and referrals. I left frustrated and confused. Please beware that Larry Adkins isn't there any longer.

This pet hospital is absolutely wonderful.The staff is great and they are totally sincere when attending to your pet.My husband and I love Dr.Martinez.I would recommend this pet hospital to everybody.

This is a great little clinic that has the best prices around for all veterinary, neuter/spay and vaccination services. They also provide boarding service for 15 bucks a day. They don't require you to pay for an exam when all you need are shots, and they're also good with my doggies. A++++
