Tehran Super

I love this place! I have been shopping there for several years now and have purchased so many wonderful things. From Persian Handicrafts to sour cherry jam, everything has been excellent. They have the large size of the best feta around (Valbresso) and super fresh Medjool Dates not to mention a great selection of dried nuts and fruits. The owner is quite friendly and helpful in finding what you need. Often times if he doesn't have something, he will order it for you so don't hesitate to ask. One I discovered Tehran Super, I have never bothered going to the Persian markets in NYC again. I am not in the market for Persian carpets myself but if you are, he has a great selection of those as well. Oh, I almost forgot, he sells ice cream cones there as well but I have to say, the pistachio bing cherry is my absolute favorite ice cream-super creamy!
