The Technician was on the property for only 30 minutes and installed a defective capacitor and charged $450.00 It did not work 8 hours later. The owner refused any refund. In my opinion : one hour air conditioning takes advantage of their "24 hour service" -a tactic to get in your door to overcharge you and not provide needed service. Again, in my opinion: this company is unethical!!!

Highly Satisfied.
Very fast, very professional. Fair price. Showed up in 45 minutes, did not charge a dime over what was quoted. He had my house cooled off within an hour. The tech was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Will recommend to others.

I called one hour on a saturday. They were the only company that I called out of 5 AC companies that actually showed up. When the technician showed up ( on time by the way) he started taking apart the equipment and showed me exactly what needed to be done. He also gave me the option of just fixing my old unit compared to the cost of just replacing my system with a new one, which I really appreciated. I decided to just have that old unit replaced with a new one, So the technician got my old system blowing cold air for my family until they could get back out the next day and replace it.
The technician went out of his way to clean up all of the mess created from the job and even hauled away some old parts. One more thing I noticed was the fact that they wore boot covers on their feet to protect my new hardwood floors. the only bad thing I have to say about the service was the dispatch lady was supposed to call me before they arrived but didn't. But other than that I would recommend them to anyone in my family.

I have used One Hour for several years and have always been pleased with the quality of work and professionalism displayed by their employees.
This company has always thoroughly explained the problems and the solutions for my repairs and have been able to offer me several financing options to help pay for repairs and even the purchase of my new AC. I have never felt as though I was being taken advantage of by this company for not having the proper knowledge of AC repair and never felt uncomfortable with any of the employees in my home. As hot as it gets in South Mississippi and even as tight as my household budget is, I would be willing to pay any price to have my AC cooling and know that the repairs were done by someone properly trained.
I recall how scorching hot it was after Hurricane Katrina, with no power, and since I have little ones in my home, I DO NOT ever want my family to be that miserable again!

If you can’t live without A/C for a day, this place can get it done…but it’s going to cost you a lot more than a locally owned and operated A/C repair company. Response was fairly rapid, within three hours after I called on a weekday. Serviceman (also the franchise owner) was quick to diagnose my unit’s problem as a faulty contactor and a faulty capacitor. That’s when he took me to the cleaners. He charged me $289 for a contactor that can be bought on line between $24 and $48 and purchased locally for $46. He charged be $279 for the capacitor that can be bought on line between $4 and $13 dollars and purchased locally for $10. For the capacitor that’s between an 1100% to a 2500% markup. I had three other electricians look at the capacitor and all three said it appeared to be functioning properly. All three asked if the serviceman had tested the contactor while it was still on the unit. He didn’t. They all noticed there was some minor scoring at the contact points but said it should have been tested. At the very least, I should have been given the option to only have the capacitor changed first and see if the unit worked properly. I spoke with the franchise owner twice on the phone about what I thought was his unfair pricing practices. He adamantly defended his prices citing licensing, bonding, insurance, uniforms, advertising, workers comp, unemployment insurance, etc. After getting nowhere with him, I called 1 Hour A/C corporate and they didn’t defend him but pretty much said they don’t get involved with local franchise business. So, bottom line, 1 Hour A/C got me up and running in a couple of hours but it cost me a small fortune!

Our house was so hot that it felt like a sauna! The tech showed up and fixed the problem within an hour and now the house is cool again. The name says it all...we already have recommended you to our neighbors!

We called this company 4 years ago to replace our entire AC unit, both inside and out. They did. However, they provided the highest quote. We looked into pricing at a later date because we had an emergency the date we requested the service. The technician was good, the owner pompous. All was well for the last four years.
We called in June of 2012 to request maintenance because our unit was constantly running and the thermostat read much higher than the air temperature felt. Our warranty clearly states "10 year no labor charge with maintenance). We were charge a maintenance fee of 180 dollars to get our unit recharged. When we initially called to see if the maintenance was under warranty the owner told us he would get right back to us before sending out a technician. He never responded and the technician showed up not knowing that we had inquired about warranty coverage.
The owner also suggested there was a Freon leak in one of the lines and in order to take care of it we should spend another 1500 dollars to replace the entire line. I called four other AC companies for a response to this suggestion. They all told me if there was a leak they could test for it and it would cost no more than 60 dollars to do that test.
The AAA One Hour Air company is simply out to make money. The owner has no respect for customer's wishes and I do not believe there is an ethical bone in his body. Terrible experience and we will never go back.
They also charged us 70 a pound for Freon
