Fatima African Hair Braiding

This is some ok work with horrible service I will never go here again buyer beware of what you getting into.

All my hair came out after I took out the braids. It took a very long time for them to finish. I got there at 6pm and didn't leave until 5am the next morning. They take a lot of food runs. The workers are very slow... The braids look great but your hair is severely damage once they're done. The braids don't last long either. They fall out after the 2nd week of having them. I got twist the first time which didn't last but 3 weeks. The second time I got box braids that didn't last but for a month. I will never go back. To charge as much as they do and get that quality of service is pathetic and they need to be ashamed.

Absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had!!! Extremely unprofessional and rude "beauticians." I scheduled an appointment for 1pm. I arrived for my appointment on time. Fatima removed my weave, washed, conditioned, and dried my hair. The products that were used were regular old Pantene products. I was asked to be patient while they finished their other customers. 4 hours later as I requested to just pay for the wash and condition since I had been waiting for so long, I was charged $40. I was told that it would be one more hour before they could start on me. 2 hours later, I was finally put into a chair. The person that started on my hair, began questioning me about whether I had an appointment in the first place. She also stated that I saw they were busy with other clients. Fatima is extreme nice. Don't get me wrong, however I really hsope that anyone who reads this review will go elsewhere for service. And yes I know exactly where I was. 2nd time dealing with them and each time has been equally bad. Please go somewhere else!

Hello, my name is fatima and I will like to pass this message to everyone again. ..anyone who's looking for me to get they hair braiding or sew in , always make sure because , other african hair braiding shop next to me on pass road, use my title FATIMA. , some clients get confuse , because we are so close !!!they call me for appointment and go to the wrong place. ..and when the work is not done properly they just write a bad review on my page...before yu write all this mom, come to me am located @200 pass road suit 2 in gulfport next to cajuns, if all this happen to my shop and then we can do something about it, is not just about money I want all my clients to be satisfied if is true that I didn't do yur hair , maybe I a was doing other clts...mom I apologies for this matter and please come back or call me@ 2282238913 I will mmake you a nother appointment and this II will do it myself ..again am truly sorry, FATIMA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING. ..

Horrible....Don't go here. My braids are ugly and uneven. Hidden fees.

First time for sew in. Paid $100 $50 for closure and $15 for wash. Crap. Plus I had to run around and find hair$90. Fatima set the appointment then her friend starts braiding my hair. So Im thinking maybe she just helping fatima out. Nope she does my entire head no questions. So really who does that. Hair is a mess. Looks like a wig. No styling was done what so ever. $300 gone. Really! Maybe she does great braids but do not let her do your sew in unless she does it and not her partner.

I am totally happy with my experience at Fatima African Braiding. My braids are beautiful, neat, and very full. I love the service so much , I brought in my 5 year old daughter to get het hair done. This is by far the best braids that I have ever had.

Am very proud of fatima she's a strong and hard worker african lady's ...since I started braiding my hair with her , I never go anywhere else and am always happy ....and my braid are same sizes and very pretty ...and my husband love it to ...thx fatima for make me so beautiful. ..

I never had my hair in micros. After i was addicted. Then i said wow let me try sew in. I have a certain texture of hair and dont trust anyone. Fatima by far is the best. Professional kind and courteous. No way im going anywhere check

EXTREMELY RUDE!! I called in to inquire about her services. Since I live an hour away, I explained to her that I wanted to see some pictures of her work to see what all styles she do. In return, she responded with, "Since you don't trust me to do your hair, get someone in your city that will do your hair for you then. I do lots of people hair in Gulfport." & said thank you and hung up in my face.Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I called back and said "Mrs. Fatima, maybe you misunderstood me.. I'm willing to drive a hour away to get my hair done, that's why I called you-- but first I would like to see your work." Again, I was bombarded with the same reply. Very mean, rude, no respect!! I would NEVERRRR NEVER recommend her to anyone, no matter how good the work is--you should at least RESPECT a potential customer MRS.FATIMA. I truly hope the best for you and your hair salon because with the attitude, you will surely not continue to be in business. Potential customers, take HEED & DO NOT GO THERE.
