Ohio Urgent Dental

I have been a patient at Ohio Urgent Dental Care for years. I love the newly redesigned waiting room! Most times, I am seated for my appointment right on time. Sometimes, like any urgent care office, lots of people show up at the same time as walk ins, so once in a while I've had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The staff is very friendly and all of the doctors who work there are very gentle and very good

I am the owner of Ohio Urgent Dental Care and I apologize for the conversation that was being held in front of you while you were being treated. That is unprofessional and is being addressed. Regarding your dental problem and pain, it is normal treatment to prescribe ibuprofen for a routine filling. If a patient experiences unusual pain after fixing a tooth, that is very unusual and likely means that more will need to be done than a simple filling, but often we don't know that until after the treatment is complete and the tooth is no longer numb.

I would strongly recommend that you refrain from using this particular dental clinic. I went there because it was a convenient location. I fractured my tooth in the middle of the night and could not find a 24 hour emergency dental office. I was in extreme pain. The dentist had the worst bed side manner. He proceeded to discuss his weekend with his assistant as if I was not present. When he finally finished, I asked him about the pain. He seriously looks me right in the eyes and asks if I was in pain. Really? I broke my tooth and he asks if I am in pain. He then proceeds to prescribe me ibpropen....ibpropen. It has been a week and the pain is still horrible. They made an attempt to schedule me another appointment after they read a review, but I will never return to Ohio Urgent Dental Care in Grove City. I strongly recommend that you refrain from using them.

Dr. Pelkey is awesome! I've been there twice in the last month and had a root canal and 3 extractions. he's the most caring and gentle dentist I have ever had and to be quite honest after the root canal I didn't even feel anything. can you believe it a root canal with no pain after. it truly is an awesome place to go for all your Dental needs.

Horrible! I show up in a ton of pain needing to have a tooth pulled. I am there at 7:45 am. and only 2 others are there. After waiting 30 min. I finally go back and then just sit there in the dentist chair for an hour and a half, after 30 min they come in to numb me up, not to do anything else mind you. So I sit there and wait over an hour. During this time 4 other people show up and leave, all while I am sitting there feeling the Novocaine wearing off. Finally the Dentist comes in, I am not numb any more so he starts sticking needles in my mouth. What he is doing causes pain and I let out a whimper, The Dentist proceeds to rip my but for not raising my hand.!!! WTF are you serious!! Needless to say I immediately got up expressed my dissatisfaction and left, now in more pain then when I showed up. Don't think I want a dentist doing a tooth extraction (a painful process) who is going to have a fit if I don't raise my hand fast enough when I experience pain.

Would never recommend them and WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

I have terrible dental anxiety, to the point of panic attacks due to several bad experiences, one being that lidocaine is hit or miss with me, so sometimes it doesn't numb me fully, no matter how many shots they give me, so I've had to stick it out through the pain to get procedures finished. I avoided the dentist for years until I got a horrible toothache so I started to see Dr. Huber at at ohio urgent dental care, and he is amazing. He is so understanding and doesn't make me feel stupid for having dental anxiety like previous dentists that I've had. Now, I get a sedative prescribed to me before every appt I have and it works great. I'm finally getting the work done that I need because of Dr Huber! I definitely recommend this place, and Dr Huber!

I was very pleased with my experience at this office! I am terrified of going to the dentist due to a previously bad experience, and put off going for too long. So, not only was scared but I was also in pain. The staff here were all so polite and kind and quickly put my fears at ease. I would recommend this office to anyone I know. Dr. Huber was very patient with me and quickly pinpointed my problem. I am going in two weeks for cleaning and am confident that I will not nearly be as nervous about going to the dentist again, thanks to Ohio Urgent Dental Care!!

I went to them for a toothache! They ignored my pain only looked at X-RAY and said nothing major only a small cavity! They did nothing said it was my sinuses! Went to Doctor had blood work and CT scan. Put on Lyrica still in pain , so went to DentalWorks only took dentist 30 seconds to look at tooth and guess what tooth was abcessed and needed to be pulled ! DO NOT GO TO THEM THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL!
