Shadow Lake Villas

I can't wait until my lease is up. They're so nice and accommodating when getting you to sign the lease, but once you're a resident, things change quickly. When a repair is needed, they act like they're doing you a favor. Then the maintenance men leave a mess that you have to clean after you've waited half the day for them to show up. They also lie about how new the carpet, fixtures, etc. are. I was told my apartment had new carpeting, but it didn't look or feel or smell new; so, I got it professionally cleaned. During the deep suction cleaning process, the cleaners sucked up an earring. When I called management to let them know that I now knew the carpets weren't new because the cleaners found an earring from the previous tenant, they insisted the carpets were new and the earring must have been from the carpet installers! This was not the type of earring one would wear to install carpets. Go anywhere else but this complex to live!
