        Hope Center, Inc ( HCI ) is a non-profit organization that has a mission to empower individuals to become self sufficient, aid in the restoration of the family structure, and revitalize aging communities through effective initiatives that support and develop on-going success in the community and systemic change, which breaks the long-term cycle of poverty and hopelessness. HCI was organized in 2000 and birth from the vision of The Hope of Glory Church International and is located in the Greater New Orleans area of Southeast Louisiana. Hope Center's target population are individuals crippled by extreme poverty, with a focus on youth ages 17-24 with high-levels of poverty, high-crime rates, low educational achievement, high infant mortality, and poor health practices, especially among minority groups. HCI's philosophy is that hope is the expectancy to believing that change is on the horizon. Hope begins now, burying the negative of the past and making an impact today for a positive tomorrow.
