Village Health Care

The management here was horrible in my experience. My grandfather was placed here for rehab. After he had improved enough that we felt that he could safely return home and after getting agreement from his PCP and caseworker, the management at Village Health Care kept trying to delay his discharge. They gave my father the run around for about a month before I stepped in and got them to set a discharge date. I can't help but feel like they ignored my father since his English isn't perfect. They told us it would only take two days for discharge, but asked us for a week to get everything ready which we agreed to. Come a week later without any communication to the contrary, we find out that they can't discharge him yet because their discharge orders hadn't been processed. They basically gave us no other option other than to leave AMA even though he was cleared from a medical standpoint and my grandfather was adamant he wouldn't stay in the facility any longer. We ended up leaving AMA, and arranged for his orders to be filled ourselves. His medical supplies that he needed were ordered and delivered within six hours of us leaving the facility. What took them an entire week to attempt took us less than a day to fulfill. The management here were the epitome of incompetent for my grandfather's case. I hope they really upgrade their management in the future. We had to report them to Medicare due to concern for possible Medicare fraud. They clearly had trouble filling all of their beds since my grandfather was without a roommate for entire month.

I honestly can tell you that these people truly care. They took care of me, listened always responded. Yes they get busy sometimes, but I'm reasonable I understand. I'm 94 years of age and i think they are doing very well.

I liked the facility. Nice nurses, the cnas were great. they really pay attention to all my needs and checked in very often. I felt like a person and not like a number.

This place is the absolute worst. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy there. Every single member of the staff lies. When asked for some water was told its not in my job description. Just plain horrible!!!!

This is is the worst facility in the Porland/Gresham area. They are completely rude and unbearable. The management there does not know what they are doing. they charge too much money for their services. 6000 dollars a month! And thats not including therapy! My grandmother came there for therapy but ended up becoming worse. She was poorly treated and did not get washed or fed daily. She also had to wait an hour for anyone to come and help her to the bathroom, and when they finally did come the people there were completely rude!
