Worst furniture buying experience ever!! Missing pieces, broken pieces and all I have gotten was the runaround. Wound up contesting the charges with my credit card company. Shop elsewhere!!

My wife and I went in to the Gresham store and we where helped by Roy omg was he great . Really went out of his way too help us find the right sofa and we got it in 3 weeks just like he said. We came in too pay for it and the office girl was great then on our way out we meet the GM Harry we love this store and staff we would only ever buy furniture from JR Furniture and so should you!!!!!!! ( great deals too!!!!!) Kimberly

The sales representatives are like those at a car lot, they swarm you and do everything in their power to sell you a piece of furniture. Show you many diffrent makes, brands, styles, and pick out the one you need. Once you pay for the item the smiling and assitance stops. First I was told that the items I had purchased were not in stock and would be ordered and they should arrive in 10 days. Thanks for telling me after I paid for it. I waited the 10 days and they never called, so I contacted them. Oh that was 10 bussiness days not to include weekends. OK 10 business days later, it should be on the next truck. 15 business days later I went down to the showroom, of course none of the managers could help me, I was reffered to the most junior secratery. She had diffculty trying to find my order, she located it and said it would be ready for pick up tommrow. I told her I already paid to have it delivered. Well they will contact you tommrow for delivery. What time I asked. I am not sure sometime tommrow. So here I am still waiting for my furnitture to be delivered 18 days later. I have still not recieved it. DO NOT SHOP HERE! The managerial staff is spineless and useless. The sales associates are sharks. I will never recommend or use this store again. It such diffcult finnancial times you would think that customer service would be a priorty to ensure there store doesn't fail.

I purchased as sectional sofa at what I later found to be an 'average' price (I was in need of a new piece right away with family coming on short notice). The sale went fine but the warehouse people, with one yapping on his cell phone, loaded the wrong piece on my truck. After bringing it home and unpacking it and finding the store's error, the manager said I should wait a couple days with this mismatched product sitting in my living room before he would be kind enough to send someone out with the right furniture. This was not going to work so I hauled the wrong piece of furniture back to the store and picked up the correct piece. After wasting my time and gas doing this, I asked the store manager (who goes by the name 'Harry') to make good on the mistake and simply credit me what his store would've charged me to deliver the furniture to a customer, which was something like $65. He said he could give me a $25 in-store credit and that was it. Hmmm....$65 for them to deliver to me, but the customer's time is worth only $25? Of course I visit the corporate website and they have no contact information. Any company that doesn't solicit customer input and make it simple and use email or provide a toll-free phone number to contact them (I figure I can call them with the direct phone number 'Harry' gave me and get sacked with an international charge) is not a good sign of a company to do business with. I will never use this store again and will refer all my friends and relatives elsewhere. There's plenty of other choices around who I'm sure take greater pride in the care of their customers.
