PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW: I am pricing window replacement or sash replacement for my 60 year old home. I don't like the vinyl look because I think they look "cheesy" or cheap looking. I stopped by several window companies in Greenville and it was about as bad as shopping for car. The sales people at these other window companies were annoying, trying all the light bulb heat tricks, and pressuring me to buy vinyl. I stopped by Windows Inc (accross from Home Depot on Pleasantburg heading toward Cherrydale) and spoke with Roger. His family owns and runs the entire company--sales, installs, and repairs. He is a normal guy...normal guy. We spoke for about 45 minutes about vinyl vs aluminum clad vs wood. He didn't pressure me into any type of window or price. He understood within 10 minutes that I wanted a traditional "colonial" window look with exterior grids. He took the time to point out what he could offer me. He understood that I wasn't really interested in entire replacement, but preferred sash replacement. Roger didn't talk down to me, and tried his best to fulfill my need with the best way he could. I haven't purchased any windows yet, but I will be back to see Roger and his family. By the way I am narrowing my search to aan aluminum clad.
