Provided by SuperpagesI purchased a defective Stanley Fatmax from lowes. When I went back in I was told that I had to have a receipt in order for them to do any exchange. I was then told that if I had bought a Kobalt brand I could have just brought it back in and exchanged it since it has a lifetime warranty. I asked if they could look up the purchase with my credit card. They responded with yes but only if I knew the exact date I came in to purchase it. Even though this was just a $30 tape measure it shows the utter lack of customer service that this company shows to its patrons. I will never purchase another item from this company. I will purchase all my needs from online retailers like amazon who provide better support to customers.

Provided by Superpagesunbelievable. i was in the electrical dept at 8:30 am. i asked for some help finding switches. the assistant recieved a phone call at the same time i asked. he stayed on the phone for about 5 mins, and then left me there. ok, so i called this afternoon around 4:30 and asked for someone in the electrical dept. it went around about 5 times. i gave up. not going back!

Provided by Superpagesi find that most of the staff have absolutly know knowledge of the hardware or items in their deptartment. i had to take a shower door back twice. unless you are a contractor good luck.

Provided by SuperpagesVery nice clean store with good levels of stock of what they have but need to stock smaller panels of MDF for home improvement projects like Home Depot used to do. Most people can't handle the full 4x8 sheet of MDF due to weight and it is a great medium for the non-professional
