Our transmission died at Donner Summit. We had roadside assistance through State Farm; they arranged for the tow. The robo call came at 7:25 AM the next morning, and Kent from Kilroy's followed with a personal confirmation call 5 minutes later. Tony showed up with the truck 45 minutes earlier than predicted (Grass Valley is about an hour's drive away). Tony was pleasant, courteous, and professional in winching the car onto the truck bed, which appeared to be in excellent mechanical shape. We followed him in a borrowed car to the repair shop at freeway speed with no signs the car was in danger. Tony worked carefully with repair shop staff to unload the car, made sure they had the keys, and was on his way. I don't give 5 stars very often; Tony would have gotten one in this case only if he'd fixed the transmission himself (it's happened!). I hope we never have another transmission failure, but I'd not hesitate to use Kilroy's for towing again.
If anyone knows kilroys we would not treat a customer like that and the owner kent and his son are stright up honest people. So bart for u to bash them u should go talk to them in person instead of assuming things kent and his son (scott) always try to do the right thing for people if u were not happy u could have gone else where and get screwed.

so my wife went to Kilroy's and got a couple tires and on her way home on hwy 49 at 60 mph the tire came off the rim, the car fishtailed and almost crashed into the new 49 off ramp onto Dorsey. she called them and they did put another tire on after she had to listen to there argent stuck up smart ass denying all responsibility. she got home told me the car isn't driving right so i drove it and it felt like the alignment was out so i called them and asked if they can fix it , the lady i talked to said they don't do that there, and so i asked her if they were going to pay to have it done, she said kent (owner) was not in and will have to wait in tell he got back.
When my wife returned to killroys only the owners son was there and was being a smart ass and told her to f*** off.
i have heard of a lot of people say that kilroys ripped them off.
Don't waist time bad service. The guy working in parts told me he had 205/60r15 tires when I get down there there's no 205/60r15s and tries to sell me 205/65r15 which are a little tight on my car. But I take them into consideration anyway and when I tell him I'll take them, he doesn't even have them all. I'm not the most well off person so for me to waist the gas and time to go down there is a lot for me. So people do not waist your time
