Charlie's Cafe

I went to Charlie's Angels Cafe, in Grass Valley today. It took 35 minutes to get my drinks, after I saw others served theirs. After waiting for 1 hour for our food, the owner came to the table and proceeded to tell us that she "lost" our credit card, but that she "thinks" she knows where it might be. Naturally, this news upset us tremendously. Instead of attempting to better the situation, the owner defended her cafe, her undertrained waitress, and made us pay for our meal. The waitress, backed up by the owner, came to the table and berated my family and me for our lck of patience. She called the police and asked us to leave. As for the food, the taste was ruined by the HORRIBLE service and terrible attitudes.

I am a California Certified educator and my boyfriend is a 5 year United States Marine Veteran (he served 1 year in Iraq), both of us know what the word "service" means. Neither of us have ever had this much displeasure in a place of business.

If you are planning a decent drama free day, and want to enjoy some great food, and conversation, please DO NOT visit Charlie's Angels Cafe, in Grass Valley. Thank you :)

The western decor was interesting, eye-catching, and unique. My breakfast was good, and large servings. Our waitress was friendly and fast. I plan to bring friends and family here when they visit.

Not my favorite, but no complaints about the eggs and bacon. That's all I've ever eaten there. Service isn't top notch, but it's ok. They don't necessiarily make you feel they are glad you are doing business with them. Kind of a cute place with the cowboy sitting at the bar and all.

Bland flavorless food. What a disappointment! How hard is it to prepare basic diner fare?
