MGM Lakeside Campground

This is a great place for a quick night's stop. The scenery of the small lake was very nice though the sounds were pretty loud from the road and industrial site nearby. In addition, the restroom facilities were clean and complete with private showers. All in all a great experience!Michelle

This place needs a lot of work. No cable is available and its crowded. Dogs running all over. The lake host a bunch of drinker who are just to much for us.

The campground was in need of some repair. We stayed next to a sewer pit or something. It seemed as if this was a long term camp ground. It was apparent that people lived there. Also I think each campsite should have a fire pit and a grill. The shower area was very clean. We would certainly stay again.

The park was very clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly. We were visiting the st louis area, touring the arch, zoo, busch gardens, botanical gardens, and a few other places. Mgm is just 10 minutes from st louis, so It was very conveniant. The shower houses were clean, which is a huge plus. They also had a laundry facility which was really helpful. There's a stocked lake there too, but unfortunately we didn't bring our fishing gear. Overall great experience. We will stay there again next year.
