Provided by SuperpagesMy party of 10 was treated rudely, and actually decided to exit the restaurant without even ordering. We walked into this seat-yourself establishment and saw an open table for 8. A couple of us pulled a nearby table for two over to connect w/ the larger table - in order to accomodate our entire group. A member of the cafe's staff (believed now to have been the owner) immediately expressed displeasure at our moving the table. We were stunned for a moment, and then it was quickly decided that we would try someplace else. As we were exiting the restaurant, the displeased staff member stated that she "just wants to be respected in her restaurant". No one in our party raised their voice, but the door was slammed as the last of us us exited. The staff member came to the door and shouted, "This is how to slam a door!", and proceeded to slam her restaurant's door as we were heading to our vehicles. We won't be back, nor will a bunch of our friends, and we'll keep spreading the word.

Provided by Superpageshighly recommend the Hilltop!!! My husband is a BIG man, and he loves the big portions. More importantly however is the fresh quality. The chefs salad is amazing! We plan our trips around lunchtime in Grangeville just to eat at the Hilltop Cafe!
