Had a problem with door opener. Left a message for Tom, he told me what to look for and I was able to correct the problem. Most companies would have come to the house and charged for a service call on a 5 minute fix. Have used Universal for broken springs, bad guide rollers, and replacement of door opener. Excellent work, and really fair price. Thanks again Tom.

Tom was absolutely amazing and a true gem to work with. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was punctual, communicative and fair. He went above and beyond to make sure that my door worked better than ever, and even followed up a week later to make sure it was still working.

I have never felt the need to write a review more than I do today for this company and the owner Tom. I have had two issues with my garage door and Tom has come to the rescue both times. He repaired my actual garage door at a fraction of what other companies were telling me I would have to pay. He recently installed a new opener and his rates were extremely fair and affordable. The best part for me—a full time working mom—is that he has done all the work without requiring me to be there, thus eliminating my need to take take off. He is kind and caring and obviously knows the business. Top notch service!! Thank you Tom!!!

Tom was good to work with. He has been fixing garage doors for many years and it shows. He knew exactly what problem was after I described what happened on the phone (broken torsion spring). The repair was quick ( about an hour ) and turned out great. Good response time...good price...good result

Described issues I was having with my garage door & that it had few cracks & bent at the top & questioned if I needed a new door. Tom stated I could buy a new door but he probably could fix the door at a minimal cost. He stated he knew what it would take to correct the issue before he even came out to inspect & he was correct. Tom was incredibly helpful in repairing my garage door. He arrived at 7:00PM and was gone by 8:15PM with everything fixed, and the door working better than it has since we bought the house. After reading reviews and BBB rating of A+, I called Tom. Super nice on phone. He Asked if we could wait til Saturday morning for service. We agreed. Could not haven been better!

I called Tom to address some repairs to my 50+ year old garage door. He arrived and quickly got to work fixing the steel wheel that had popped out of track and repairing the track itself. He was very knowledgeable and completed the job in short order. Extremely fair pricing and my old garage door is like brand new!!

Repair took place just 2 days after my initial call. Tom was very knowledgeable - easily found and fixed the problem. Before his visit the door wouldn't even open. Now it opens easily and is much quieter than before. The cost to repair the door was very reasonable and less than I anticipated.
