Great service! Nick and Dakota did an awesome job moving me from a 3rd floor apartment in Frisco to another 3rd floor apartment in Grapevine. They called before arriving and arrived when they said they would. Very professional and polite, they prepped and moved all items without any damage; I was very impressed with the service and would recommend this company as well as use their services in the future. Great job guys, thanks!

Impressed!

Used these guys yesterday with a one day notice. They arrived on time, moved us in the quoted time, and we even had extra items. There was no damage to our items and they used moving blankets on everything.



These guys HUSTLED. 100 degrees outside and they were literally jogging from their trailer and through the house. I really can't say thank you enough. I will absolutely use you guys again, but I hope to not move for a while!

HORRIBLE company, I hired Midnight Hour to help move me from my house into my fiance's place. Shortly after they arrived, one of them "went to the bathroom" in my toilet. He left his feces all over the toilet and did not flush it. Rather than telling me he could not get the toilet to flush, he put the seat down in hopes that I would not notice this - absolutely disgusting! When I called their office to complain, she said "sorry that happened, I will talk with them about it." That is not customer service! I tried to get them to use hand sanitizer and they refused. Literally a discusting company, stay away from these people.

Previously, December 2010 my husband and I used Midnight Hour Movers to load, drive and unload for us. Our experience with Chaz and Lundy was professional and worry free. Although my husband and I had a few dumbbells on a huge rack, they still remained energetic and packed our belongings with respect. Remembering our experience in 2010, we decided to use Midnight Hour Movers again. We set our appointment early at 7am and this time it was ONLY to load our U-Haul truck. We were moving 1 ½ hours away from Dallas. Upon the two man crew’s arrival at 7:20am, they assessed our belongings and proceeded to carry some moderately heavy boxes to the truck. At 7:50am, one of the workers questioned if we were on a schedule. Knowing that we had to drive 1 ½ hours out of town and pick up our keys to our new apartment before the office closed, we stood hesitant. One of the crew members threw out his back and was said that he was to be rushed to the hospital. Asking if he was ok, the guy said that we would be getting a call from the office and we were left to wait on another crew. We waited for the offices call for 30-45 minutes. We ended up calling the office for status of the second crew. Not knowing if a crew was going to show up and with time ticking, my husband and I started loading and organizing our truck ourselves. 3 ½ hours later we received a call with the next crew arriving. While the second crew was loading, they had no concept of organization. After the job was done, it looked as though they loaded our things, closed the door, flipped the truck around a couple of times and opened the door. It was a mess! Our treadmill was standing upright on a raised floor ground. With sufficient force of a right turn, would have the treadmill collapsing on a broken down cable cross machine.

In addition, speaking with manager he was rude and had no answers. Upon asking him what he could do for the inconvenience he replied “we have another crew coming out”. Even though the second crew spent 1 hour loading the remaining furniture, we were told it would be a minimum 2 hour work rate. If our belongings were taking care of with respect, we would have felt better about the minimum paid out work rate, regardless of the inconvenience. Overall there was no customer service with Midnight Hour Movers, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

First crew worked for 30min second crew worked for 1 hour 15 mins - we worked the 2 hour min. Im sorry someone hurt themselves and inconvenienced your day, by the way that crew member has recovered and is feeling better now thank you for your concern. I cant pull crews out of my back pocket, everyone was on 7am jobs, the first crew that was finished was sent directly out to you to finish your move putting 2 other customers on that crew way behind to get YOU taken care of before them AND sure enough I have already got a complaint from a customer on that crew because were 3 hours late to them, I tried to explain the situation of what happened but they didn't care about your move, the crew member that got hurt or anything but their move and demanded a discount just like you. Strange how money seems to be the driving force for life now a days. IM sorry you thought I was rude on the phone, I felt I was stern and direct with the answerers - the answers were just not to your liking and you wanted to fight about it. No matter how many calls you made or how angry you got at the situation there was nothing that could be done in the blink of an eye. Everything that could have been done was being done and a crew showed up to take their spot you just had to wait. Im sorry you will never use us again, my goal is not to lose customers however for those that cant accept the fact life happens and we're not always 100% in control of that - its ok to lose a few of those. At the end of the day our company got the job done and your only complaint is someones injury put you behind schedule. best regards, -Marcus

I used Midnight Hour Moving for my recent apartment move in June. The guys were on time and called before they arrived. Once they arrived, they got to work and didn't damage one item. I was very pleased with their service, so I recommended them for my sister's move from Plano to Houston in August. Again, they were great and moved her items, 300 miles, without one glitch. The front office is also great and very prompt when responding to my inquiries. Thank goodness for Midnight Hour Moving.

The 332.00 was for the move, which took about 4 hours. The day before, I had hired them to pack and that price was 167.00 for about 2 hours. The next week I used them to move a heavy dining room table, 8 chairs and 2 leaves from Keller to Euless for 126.23 - worth the price not to have to find people to move it, and to be able to stay out of the hideous construction and traffic on 1709.Steven and Jeremy moved me and also did the table moving; they were friendly, professional and efficient. They communicated and kept me informed about things as they went along; when they weren't sure of something, they asked. They were great and I would recommend the company and these two guys in particular to anyone. I regret that I don't recall the names of both packers; one was Tim and both were friendly and professional, like Steven and Jeremy. Communicative and efficient, they showed up on time (6 am!) and finished in just about 2 hours. They were excellent.My son and daughter-in-law were visiting when Steven and Jeremy moved the table and were really impressed as well. I can't say enough good. From Kika, the scheduler, to Marcus who coordinated things, to the guys who did the physical work. Fabulous!

As much as I would like to give this company a positive review based on what their customer service before and during the move, I am extremely upset to see that how many things that were broken upon arrival in my destination. All the items that were broken were items that they wrapped and handled, none of the items that we packed ourselves. For instance, our mater four post bed was extremely scratched up because they did not utilize the blankets provided to wrap it properly. My sectional sofa was ripped because they put metal items on top of it when they should not have. Two legs on our armoire were broken. The list goes on and on and 100% of the items were their mistakes or disregard. I have yet to complain to them because we just arrived but I am going to and I will pull this review should they decide to make this right. Otherwise, I would not suggest using their service.



Update: I spoke with Marcus from Midnight Mover's and told him about the situation. His first response was that he asked his guys about the move and they said they do it as they always do it and they will not take responsibility for anything after things are in the truck since this was a load and not a pack or move. The fact is that they not only dropped a very expensive desk during the load, they also poorly loaded multiple items which would, of course, not be the responsibility of the moving company. Furthermore, they tried to cover up damage caused by dropping the desk. Needless to say, I do not recommend working with them. Customer service goes way beyond getting the business but also after you have gotten the business and need to make things right with your clients. Midnight Hour Moving is clearly not a company that takes responsibility for their actions.

David, I told you before the move I strongly didnt recommend using ABF for residential moves and that you would see damage at the unload if you used them. I suggested 2-26ft uhauls and you declined because you didnt want your wife to drive one and you didnt like the 3-4 PODS needed as an alternative. We tried to put some of your more fragile items in the uhaul but your wife said "no thats for apartment stuff only" and sent the crew to the ABF truck. the desk was looked over and over there was no damage done. You called me 40 times prior to your move with a million questions and updates on the crew during the move I dont honestly think you would have witnessed the crew damaging something and I wouldnt have gotten a phone call from you. Thats not how you are. We have accepted responsibility and made things right with many customers here in DFW.. Were not perfect and dont claim to be. The fact of the matter is you chose ABF despite warnings, you didnt want to pay for more PODS, you didnt want to use 2 uhauls. We dont cover load only moves where its not our equipment, our crews on both ends, our driving. We load hundreds of uhauls, penskys and budgets a year and never get a complaint. Instead of wishing for customers to understand I think its clear we need to just refuse to provide loading service for shipping methods we know aren't safe. -Marcus

Another great move!!!!

This is the second time I have used this company, and it was excellent. They were on time, very friendly and polite. The crew moved everything with care and caution to avoid damage as if it was there own stuff. And even moved a few items several times because I could not decide where they should go, maintaining a happy to please you attitude the whole time. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. This is the only moving company I will use.

Midnight Hour for a reason

I would definitely not recommend these guys to anybody. I had to take off work early to move and they called at the last minute pushing back the time several hours. I called back again and they pushed it back more and told me it wasn't there fault. When asked for a discount they laughed at me and told me you want us to come or not. I didn't want to find another mover because I had already packed everything and wanted to get it over with. The management is very rude and does not care about customers at all. I will never call these guys ever again.

Your move was set up for 4:00PM on the 21st and the movers arrived at 5:45PM. YES we were late but we called and let you know about us being late at 2:17PM and told you the job before you was going to run over. You immediately got loud over the phone and demanded a discount. I apologize for being late but sometimes these things happen. When the customer before you does not disclose 100% what they are moving or needing to be done it puts a crew behind. We are at the mercy of the customer day in and day out. 3 out of 5 customers we service are running late because they are driving into town or waiting to sign a lease at an apartment. We do NOT start the close till we start working, if we are on time waiting for the customer can we demand a double charge? I apologize for the crew being almost 2 hours late but they must of done a great job for you because nothing was broken and you tipped them $60.00.

it took previous movers 7.5 hours to load my uhaul and midnight hour with just 2 guys unloaded it in 2 hours.

My latest move from plano to houston was amazing. Midnight hour loaded me in just under 2 hours n the other company here in houston couldn't unpack me in under 4.

If you want the best call midnight hour moving.

If you want the instability and headaches...... call the other movers

Incredible workers!

I used Midnight Hour Moving to consolidate 2 storage units into a single, new unit. The distance was not far and it was easy (all first floors). The guys worked great, communicated well. Creating the reservation was easy and they where on top of things. They provided me multiple options and even changed my reservation for me without any issues or extra fees. The amount quoted was the exact amount of the final, total cost. Again, great experience. Will use again and I will be recommended to all my friends and family. Midnight, keep my info handy as I will be back!-- Jay Allen

Midnight Moving was the best moving company I have ever had. The movers showed up on time and it took them less time than expected to move my stuff! Do not recommend!

I gave them one star instead of 0 stars because the actual movers were friendly and fast. However, the bad review is due to all of the damage done to my furniture. My dresser was completely destroyed because the put a bike on top of it when loading the truck. The entire top of the dresser was damaged with a repair estimate of over $400 (plus an additional charge to pick up and deliver). The moving company at first offered to give $100, which would not make a dent in the cost to repair or replace. They finally reluctantly took $250 off of the move. I am still out significant money, as it is $700 to replace the dresser. The damage was so deep that the repair company said it would never be exactly like it was, so due to the repair cost it is more logical to replace. Upon further inspection, my microwave was crushed, my 52 inch LCD TV was chipped, and both nightstands were scratched. If you use these movers, take out insurance and do not expect for them to compensate you for damage.

Some of this stuff is new to me as when we were bringing everything into your home you walked over everything with a comb and the only thing that did not pass was the dresser... the one you said you were donating to goodwill.. Our company discounted the move to free to try and make you happy. Our crew even offered to work for free to try and compensate you for your lose. We made a mistake and we tried to make up for it. We average 150 residential moves per month and strive for return customers. Im sorry this was not a good experience for you. -Marcus
