Would never use them again

I found an ad in the paper for inexpensive carpet cleaning and called. The girl that answered the phone were extremely short with me. No thank you's or have a nice day's. The technician that came out was very friendly and gave me some freebies, but it still cost me $65 more than I budgeted for. After the carpet dried, I vacuumed and I pulled up a ton of dirt and the spots that were there before the cleaning showed up again. I called and spoke to someone that said that they would send a manager out to reclean. Again, very short and hung up without even saying good bye. They came back today, and I'm sorry but if he was a manager then I'm the Queen of England. Again, very nice guy but obviously not a manager. Showed up in a 10 year old, beat up van that didn't even have their logo on it. He recleaned the area in about 15mins and said, what do you think? I said, well what do you think? and got a 'this should be good' speech. The carpet is still wet so we'll see when it dries. I certainly will not use them again if only for the crappy customer service of the people answering the phones.

Don't call Ceritified

Last year I called Certified for duct cleaning. An "instuctor" with 2 students showed up and subsequently damaged a priceless artifact in my home. They could have been the Katzijammer kids. Repeated phone calls were unanswered and e-mail communications resulted in an offer of $25 which was never paid. Arbitration at BBB resulted in award of $100 and it wasn't paid. Man called "Pat" claimed to have bought out the owner Kevin Godsbey who is still listed on the BBB.

They are totally disreputable and should be avoided.

THEY BROKE MY A/C UNIT

EXTREMELY LONG STORY. I PLAN TO CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ON THIS COMPANY AND GET OUR ATTORNEY INVOLVED! THIS COMPANY MESSED WITH THE WRONG FAMILY. TECH CAME OUT ON FRIDAY AND GAVE US ESTIMATE OF 600.00 AND WE SAID TOO MUCH. HE THEN MADE PHONECALL AND KNOCKED THE PRICE DOWN TO 350.00 INCLUDING DRYER VENT CLEANING. WE ACCEPTED AND WISH WE NEVER HAVE. ONCE THE TECH LEFT HE LEFT OUR AIR SYSTEM OFF, AND WHEN WE CUT IT ON IT BLEW HOT AIR...TECH NEVER CAME BACK OUT THAT DAY TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. WE WERE LEFT IN A 85 DEGREE HOUSE. THE PEOPLE AT THE OFFICE WAS UNABLE TO GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE.

THE NEXT DAY THE TECH CAME OUT THAT MORNING AND CLAIMED TO HAVE FIXED A SENSOR IN THE ATTIC AND STATED IT WAS FIXED. WELL 1 HOUR GOES BY AND STILL HOT IN OUR HOUSE. LONG STORY SHORT, THEY NEVER CAME BACK OUT ON THAT SATURDAY AND THEN THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND. OUR OTHER AIR GUY TOLD US THAT WHO EVER CLEANED THE COIL PUNCTURED A HOLE IN IT. SO THAT COSTS AN EXTRA 79.00 AND 400.00 IF THE COIL IS UNDER WARRANTY. THIS WAS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE, MY FAMILY HAD TO STAY IN A HOTEL BECAUSE OF THE HEAT IN OUR HOME. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS NOT DELIVERED. AND NOW IT IS SUNDAY AND THEY ARE CLOSED. UNLESS THEY FULLFILL. WE PLAN TO TAKE THIS A FAR AS WE NEED TO. NO THREATS HAVE BEEN MADE FROM THIS COMPANY ON OUR END. THEY MAINLY JUST DID NOT DELIVER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Bad company

They are not professional at all. They came out and cleaned my carpet the guy walked all over my sofa that I had moved in the hall. He made a big mess in my bathroom with the water from the tub that he used to fill his machine. Then the carpet took 3 days to dry and now it smells musty all in my house so I called to tell them about it they told me that they are not giving a refund and I said I was going to stop payment on the check and then they told me they would just press charges never heard a sorry the did offer to fix it but I didn't want anyone else from there company to come in and mess my house up. I would not even tell someone I hate to use these people.

This comany has threatened me

Wow, where to start..... the long and short of it is this; they sold me everything under the sun to the tune of $200 with guarantees of what their products would do. The results were that of only a carpet cleaning and not of a total removal of pet stains and odors, as assured. I attempted to call and complain, left a message for a supervisor and my call was never returned. I stopped payment on my check. I was contacted today about that stop payment. I was called evil and a veiled threat was made saying....I know where you live, your driver's license,etc. I made a police report and hope something will come of it.

On the date of 2/28/2008 between the hours of 0830 and 0915.I called Certified Carpet to get information I received from an ad in a advertising paper.I called the number listed 817-784-6615,one out of several phone numbers listed for this company.The young lady who answer the phone was nice when we first spoke,but when I asked her about what the tax percentage on the service we spoke about her words were "I'm not allowed to give quotes over the phone bye"then she hung the phone up immediately. I called the company back with another number provided 972-206-0041 hoping someone else will answer ,but the same young lady answer the phone.When she heard my voice she said "Oh my God"I proceeded to ask a question and she hung up again.So I called back with another phone number provided 214-351-2667.The same young lady answered and when I ask to speak to a manager she said"Can I ask what for "before I can give a response she hung up.
