Ronnie's Repair Shop

Hands down the worst shop you can ever use. Took my truck in there for a head gasket job. Ronnie stated " will be done in 1 week." 2 weeks later my truck is finished. After driving it for an hour the belt slipt off some caught the water pump and cracked the housing leaving me stranded. Ronnie sent a wrecker to come get it and fix it. 1 week later I get it back and for the most part all seems fine. (A few loose bolts around the truck I had to tighten ) Fast forward 2 months to current day. Driving at 11:00 at night far from home and truck begins overheating again. Manage to make it back home after periodically stopping to cool off and refill with coolant. I run a test on the coolant system to check for exhaust gases, and sure enough they are present ( blown head gasket ) So I inform Ronnie of this and that its blowing smoke out the exhaust. His advice to me is ( word for word ) "Trade it off. Get new Truck." Thank you Ronnie, for this invaluable advice. TL;DR: Took to a shade tree mechanic to save a few bucks. Wasted $1300 and 3 weeks of my time . Now taking to the dealer for well over $2000 to get it done right.
