I personally want to thank Jean S. for the response to the review from the previous owners. I am the present owner of this business and know what our center has to offer. We take pride in giving the best care for every child that attends our center. We try to make every day a delightful one for the children as well as the parents. We work every day to to accomplish this goal at being the best child care center in the parish. I would like to thank each and every family who attends for helping us in this experience. We know the great history that the Higginbotham's instilled here and are proud to be the owners of one of the parishes elite child care centers. Josh Guitreau

I would dig a little deeper and get some facts but hey, it's your kids not mine. I just don't feel a place that calls the cops twice on an 8 year old who steps in the parking lot (which is owned in part by her parents) to get her ball a very caring place. Good luck.

My children attended LMDE several years ago when Ms. pat and Mr. Joe ran the center and you could not ask for a better place to have your child. The daycare is now under new management and they are just as wonderful as Ms. Pat and Mr. Joe... I know this because I now have 3 grandchildren attending LaMaison des Enfants at this time. I am aware that the previous"owers/management" a husband and wife tag team that have been removed from the business have posted some negative words about the daycare. I am here to tell you I personally know Rosalyn and Steve Murphy and they should have never been in charge of such a wonderful daycare... It was all about the money for them and they were forced to leave the business. The new owners and management brought LMDE back to the way the Higginbothams intended it to be. Please don't take my word for it. Go by and visit LMDE for yourself and you will see a beautiful, happy place to leave your child. Tell them Jean S. said hello.
