I had a agent who did nothing for me which I found out the hard way when I had an accident. When I went to his office to file my claim my agent handed me a slip of paper with an 800 number and helped me to a desk so I could call the company. Are agents supposed to help- isn't that what they are there for? After I finally resolved my claim I called Carroll Steele Insurance and discussed my situation and requested some quotes. Not only were they much less, but they handled everything. they contacted my current company to cancel my policies and submitted all the paperwork and dealt with the insurance company for me. They even pointed out some coverage concerns that my other agent never bothered to do. Excellent service wins every time!

I am new to Mass and I contacted this agent for auto insurance. I completed an application and I was told I needed to give a down payment of 30% of my premium which I did. I was told I would be billed the remainder of my premium over the next 10 months. I received my first monthly bill and it was for 10 TIMES MORE THAN WHAT I WAS TOLD. When I asked why, she says until they verify my out of state driving record, I have to pay this higher rate. My agent NEVER explained any of this to me and ARGUED with me stating that she knows that she did. I went to a local agent rather than one of the (few) larger insurance companies since I thought they might be able to assist me a little better. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do not know whether or not this outrageous bill would have occurred with other agents but I would have appreciated being told about it ahead of time so that I could have researched it before agreeing to this policy and I did not appreciate being told that I am a liar.

This truly a full service agency. While my old agent past me off to a carrier 800 number Carroll K. Steele Insurance took care of my claim from start to finish. They dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have too. As an agent should! Transferred all my policies to Carroll K Steele Insurance. Highly recommended!!!!!
