I give these guys a zero out o...

I give these guys a zero out of 5, sure its great you can do whatever you want but don't expect them to fix stuff unless your a senior citizen. I put in numerous work orders to fix my air, my fridge, my rusted bathtub, nothing was fixed my whole 6months of staying here. It was very hot all summer in my apt. Upon move out they refused to refund my 1400 dollar security deposit when I didn't mess the apartment up at all. I advise no one to rent from these jerks! Also they denied any work orders I put in and were very rude and unprofessional about everything, they actually told me straight to my face that my air was never broken WHEN IT NEVER WORKED!!!!!! These guys are awful to rent from. Also there is mold and tons of roaches that they do nothing about, very unsanitary living conditions! Brittany Murphy and her husband died from unknown mold in their home!!! My next course of action with these guys is reporting them to the health department!!!!

WHAT A DUMP!!! Bed bugs, roach...

WHAT A DUMP!!! Bed bugs, roaches, rats, broken washers/dryers that destroys your clothing, broken pipes weekly, no hot water, gangs, meth labs, HORRIFIC MANAGEMENT who write false reviews as below which by the way is in violation of this site's policy, leaky roofs, ASBESTOS, fire code violations, scary elevators and broken stairs are just some of the issues you WILL face if you rent at Cherry Creek Club!

In response to the continuing issues residents face while living at Cherry Creek Club Apartments I am starting an activist group in hopes of giving residents a voice and a way to organize hopefully resulting in improvements of the living conditions in these apartments. Here is the Facebook page please join us if you are a resident and hope for change. http://www.facebook.com/CherryCreekClubApartmentsResidentCoalition

This review will reveal the issues all of the occupants have had including myself. This apartment complex is dirty, managed by crooks, and unfit for tenants to be residing within the premises. I have gone forward multiple times and tried to get them to fix all the things wrong in my apartment and the bug situation. So far I am still without working outlets in my room and bugs continue to crawl all over my plates, glassware, belongings, and steal kibble from my dog's food bowl. I have requested to be relocated to a new apartment within the complex and they told me I had to pay a moving free of $300 plus new deposits. After that slap in the face I looked up Colorado laws regarding unfit conditions within a landlord-tenant laws. I found that because my bug situation cannot be fixed that my lease was then broken. They still told me to pay a fee for breaking the lease of $600.

After all this went down I got a hold a few other tenants and we began a Facebook page to let the other tenants know they have rights and do not have to live in such conditions. The complex's response was eviction notices and threatening to sue for "conspiracy against the company." Look us up, Cherry Creek Club Apartment Resident's Coalition, you will see how many of us are against this mistreatment and how they have done nothing to correct them.

Do you want to live in a complex where the management does not care for your health issues and only wants your money? Do you want to live in an area where they have busted meth labs more than once? Have your car towed from the predatory tow truck of Alpine Auto Recovery and Towing? Or better yet, would you like your animals to get sick from eating the bugs or drinking from the water bowl that the bugs have drowned in. Not to mention, the security guards got the hours cut back and the gates open earlier now... my Jeep got broken into and someone was shooting up in my car in the back seat!!! they left a disgusting dirty needle... and management said there want nothing they could to help me.

EDIT: After a brief dealing face-to-face with the community manager, Bobby Scocchera, I will be contacting my lawyer, the BBB, and the Denver Housing Authority. His boss at Weidner, Shirley Tibbins (sp?) can be reached at 303-758-1739, and I suggest anyone else who's had to deal with him contact her as well. I have never been treated like this in my life, and I can't believe this man still has a job. We're counting the days until we can leave.

I've lived in worse places, but not for what I'm paying to live here.

Parking - There are nowhere near enough parking spots for everyone. If you don't get home before 5:30, you may frequently find yourself actually parking *outside the complex*.

Interior - The carpeting is cheap and crappy. Our "brand new carpet" was stained badly before we moved in, and there's no edging around the tile areas so the carpet frays. I'm withholding harsh critique for when we move out and they inevitably try to seize our deposit to cover their bad judgement and shoddy work.

Management - The biggest irritations come from the management. At move-in, we were required to do our apartment inspection then and there, with a rep following us and taking the actual notes herself. I've *never* seen this before; usually they give you a form to fill in and ask to have it back within a week. So of course we have no idea what preexisting damage they'll pin on us.

The 'cesspool shower' - fountains in the lake spray us daily with foul water, staining our clothes.

Ice removal - In the winter, the parking lot, sidewalks, and pathways are deadly.

Bills - The utilities are OUTRAGEOUS. The rent seems cheap at first, but we're paying $800/mo with $575/mo rent.

If I was paying $150 less a month, I wouldn't have much to say. But for $800, I expect a little more. I'm disappointed with the freely abrasive, antagonistic attitude of the office. It's very clear that they'd like us to pay them and shut up.

UPDATE: Our entire building has been without hot water for 36 hours. Management has been and continues to be completely unresponsive. For the love of god, don't move here.

Don't be fooled by the pretty lake and pool, this place is run by complete scumbags. When I was moving out, I asked them if I should walk through the apartment with the building manager, and they told me that it wasn't necessary and there would just be a charge to clean the carpet. Well, being the trusting idiot I am, I let them walk through the apartment without me. I had cleaned the place thoroughly, and I triple-checked that it was very clean. When I got the inspection report though, they claimed that the carpet was "soaked" in cat urine and they had to replace the entire carpet. This is total B.S. My cat has never peed on the floor, ever. I also checked to make sure there was nothing like that on the carpet. But I couldn't fight it because I didn't walk the apartment with them like I should have. If you're considering moving there, do yourself a favor and just avoid this overpriced, glorified slum altogether.
