Coventry Crossing Apartments

I was looking for a place to live in Pennsylvania moving from Brooklyn, NY. I found Coventry Crossing LP thru craigslist with an ad for $1250/month short term leasing and long term leasing. I spoke with Kristen from Coventry and she welcomed us in and made it easy for us to move in with a expedited transition. We loved the place and immediately wanted to commit to a 6 month term, the price was increased to 1312 because of the non 1 year term commitment. It was also told verbally by Kristen from Coventry that if We decided to opt the 1 years term, we would still be able to take advantage of the $1250 1 year term rate, which would be worked out at the time of change requested if needed. The day we moved in, we decided that we wanted to stay the full year and immediately called Kristen and Coventry to change the terms of the lease. They completely changed their story and were oblivious to what we were referencing when we made an attempt to change the term, so we figured they would not agree but we tried because we know what was told to us prior to move in, and we knew Kristen wouldn't LIE to us because as a realtor you have to follow code of ethics. So this was the first incident on the first day that gave us second thoughts about our lease and we knew we were about to be frauded moving forward. During our stay, it has been terrible, starting with the delayed fixing of unit earlier in term(3days to come out), overwhelming stinkbugs(Coventry never sent an exterminator and we call several times and there disrespect of some of their maintenance employees with their lack of listening and unannounced entry. This has been the absolute worst stay they come in your home if your not there so this is not my apartment, it's definitely theirs, total invade of privacy. To top it off, since the start of our pool opening the lifeguard has been racist in ways by making us uncomfortable that I don't even go down to the pool no more, because of her racist ways.
