Overall
Excellent service

I've had my oil changed several times as well as some other minor work. The owner is customer oriented. The service is quick and reasonably priced.

Overall
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

My husband went and received an oil change service on Monday, April 21, 2008. The next morning he left for work and made it about a block up the road before the engine blew. The person at House of Lube who changed his oil failed to place the drain plug back in his oil pan or did not secure the plug properly and it fell out after changing the oil. Upon discovering what had happened, he called the House of Lube and spoke with the owner who said he was on his way to our house to look at my husband’s truck. He ended up sending the person who changed the oil, which in my opinion should have been reviewed by the owner himself. After reviewing, the representative from the House of Lube got underneath the truck to try and see if the damages were real. Once seeing the drain plug was not in place he offered to put the plug back in that he had brought with him and fill with oil. Of course my husband said no as he wanted a mechanic to look at it. After towing to the mechanic's shop and review of the truck the mechanic determined the engine was blown. Our mechanic contacted the owner of The House of Lube and he was told that they were not responsible for the damages. Once given the news my husband then backtracked all of his steps and took numerous pictures of oil leading out of their parking lot, and the other couple of places he had went to the night he had his oil changed. We have a movie rental return confirmation with the date and time showing the place where he had went and the oil spot in the parking lot. Once this information and pictures were gathered my husband then phoned once again the owner of the House of Lube, he then stated that he would have to deal with their insurance company, no further information was provided. The next morning, today Wednesday, April 22, 2008 my husband phoned The House of Lube trying to contact the owner again to resolve the issue, as it should be their responsibility to repair the damages due to the fact they failed to provide proper service. Well once the person who answered the phone found out who was calling, the owner of course was not in and the manager of course did not have any information to provide to my husband. No apologies, no customer service, absolutely nothing from the owner or manager in regard to this incident which clearly was not our fault. Not only did this incident occur however our neighbor came over after seeing my husband broke down Monday morning and told us that he as well had an oil change provided by The House of Lube in which his oil was filled too full which resulted in his gaskets being blown. I have also learned since the incident a friend of mine's friend used to work there for a short period of time, he quit due to lawsuits and the fact that the reason the 10 minute oil change is possible is because a majority of the time they are not changing your oil!!! I would strongly recommend that if you are planning on an oil change GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! I have a feeling this is going to be a long drawn out process in which we do not have a few grand lying around to just go pick up a new engine. One car with two adults working about 30 minutes from each other with different schedules and a child that has to be picked up from daycare by a certain time is a huge inconvenience for something that was completely not our fault. The people at fault are not even courteous enough to attempt to help or make it easier on us because they screwed up. The only attempt they are making is an attempt to avoid us and they are succeeding in avoiding us. I seriously hope if you are reading this you realize the terrible services or lack of services that will be provided if you choose The House of Lube.
