The Springs At Gilbert Meadows Apartments

I've lived here for 1 year...and I can't take it anymore.



If you are the kind of renter that likes to have running water....then Springs at Gilbert Meadows Apartments are not for you! They are ALWAYS turning off the water. At least twice a week. The office staff just says " sorry for the inconvenience " . They just put bandaids on the maintenance issues, instead of fixing the problem.



They have 2 pools...but they close them 75% of the time. The pools are rarely open. You can't count them as a feature. They put padlocks on the gates. It will be closed for days/weeks at a time during the summer!!



If you like having running water (which you pay for either way) and like having access to the pools do not live here.

This was a good deal AT THE TIME, we received 2 months free rent plus a 350.00 visa gift card to move in last fall....No wonder they were giving away so much, this place is TERRIBLE!! We have a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, and we live in an upstairs unit, the main bedroom shares the same wall as our neighbors kitchen, where the washer and dryer is. So needless to say, we never get any sleep, cause they slam the cabinets and do laundry till all hours of the night...and the walls here are PARER THIN!! You can hear EVERYTHING, from the neighbors t.v., to the kids next door to you coughing in the middle of the night. Gilbert P.D. is also VERY familiar with this complex, as it has a ton of vehicle break-ins and lot's of outstanding warrants on tenants living here. Oh, and all though they say no large breeds of dog's allowed, there are pit bulls everywhere, and having small children and a small dog as well, it isn't a very good feeling when you are walking around the complex, and the maintenance mans' 2 UNLEASHED pit bulls are running around crapping all over the grass. But hey, if ya wanna move here, make them give you 6 months free rent!!!! 1 good thing is, you can run your a/c at 74 degrees and the electric bill stays under 165.00!!
