A Mop & Two Women

Hired Judy Hicks of 2 Women and A Mop to clean my house on Nov. 17, 2015. Three women showed up to clean. I noticed that diamond earrings and a John Hardy bracelet were missing from top of my dresser. Called to inquire with Ms. Hicks to see if the women may have put the items elsewhere while cleaning. I was firmly told by Ms. Hicks that the items were left on my dresser. I turned my house top to bottom to find the items to no avail. Today, March 24, 2016, I received a call from Judy Hicks that she has an employee who has been caught stealing from customers and I was urged to file a police report, four months after the fact because she finally believes me that my items were taken. In addition, she informed me that her employee has visited various pawn shops in the area, often on the same day of the items going missing. At no point is Ms. Hicks taking responsibility or offering to make anything right. I realize that my items are most likely long gone. Proceed with caution.

Fees were nonnegotiable even though I knew they were cleaning a much larger house for the same price. On initial interview, owner Judy told me that if I ever was not satisfied to let her know and she would come back to my house to make sure it was cleaned properly. On the second cleaning, it was clear that one of my rooms was not swept or mopped (there was dust and dirt under the furniture). I texted her to bring it to her attention and she just said she'd ask the person who cleaned my house. No response or attempt to clean. On the next and FINAL cleaning, she left my back door open and unlocked. When I brought this to her attention, she never apologized. She only insisted that she locked it. Ridiculous. And such poor customer service.

Worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning service. They were always late. The last time they didn't show up at all. That would say they were coming 15 minutes prior and not show up at all.They don't send the same people as advertised. Once you have negotiated a rate after a few weeks, they want more $$$ and refuse to do the tasks that were agreed upon.



I haven't used them in a while but the owner pulled up beside my car in the Panera Bread parking lot today and stuck her middle finger up at me. She lacks maturity and professionalism.
