Germantown Public Info Officer

Poor Blacks should really be careful driving through Germantown, TN. This court is unlike any court I have ever seen or dealt with. They are a small court. Self governed. Bigoted in my opinion. Corrupt in my honest opinion. I have two traffic tickets in Germantown for minor citations like a tailight and seatbelt. I could not make it to court and called but it was too late. I was hit with a failure to appear. Told that I just can't show up to talk to a judge and would need to get a lawyer. All the lawyers want $1,000.00 PER violation. So that would be $2,000.00 for me.



They won't tell me how much my fines are at all. This court has also told me if I show up I will be arrested on the spot. Way to go for incentivizing people to show up. They put my information, name, birthdate and address on Google for all to see. It pops up Warrants. Fortunately for me the employers where I live don't care too much or else I would still be unemployed.



They have their way with the poor and black. There is nothing anyone can do. Worst experience of my life dealing with these clowns. I have heard of other small town courts in the South intentionally bringing blacks in on minor violations like seatbelt violations and fingerprinting them and then letting them go. Black people PLEASE be careful. This court and Germantown TN do not want us in their town (in my opinion). They will exploit you and threaten you and try to give you jail time for anything.
