Professionalism

This place was very rude and disrespectful to my 87 year old grandma. She called to ask if she could change her appointment from a Thursday to Tuesday and told her she could not change it. So when she shows up for her appointment on Thursday they told her she missed her appointment that it was on Tuesday. Then tried to blame it all on her. My mom heard them tell her she could not change her appointment then pull that mess. Totally unacceptable I will never give them my business!!

Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, involves exposing part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound exams do not use ionizing radiation (x-ray). Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels.
MRI
In addition to its role as a diagnostic tool, researchers are investigating whether breast MRI may be useful in screening younger women at high risk of breast cancer. Most women under 40 do not require any breast imaging, but might be at a higher risk for cancer due to family histories or a mutated breast cancer gene. Breast MR is effective in dense breast tissue usually found in younger women.

Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear medicine is a subspecialty within the field of radiology. It comprises diagnostic examinations that result in images of body anatomy and function. The images are developed based on the detection of energy emitted from a radioactive substance given to the patient, either intravenously or by mouth. Generally, radiation to the patient is similar to that resulting from standard x-ray examinations.
Mammography
Stereotactic-guided biopsy uses mammogram images for guidance. We are able to provide needle biopsy using both traditional 2D mammogram images, as well as 3D mammography. This allows us to perform breast biopsies safely and quickly for our patients. We also perform these biopsies with patient's seated comfortably in a chair.
Computed Tomography
Cardiac calcium scoring uses a computed tomography (CT) scan - a type of x-ray - to identify calcium on the walls of the coronary arteries. The CT scan takes pictures of the heart in thin sections; our on-site radiologists interpret the presence of calcium from these images.
Chemotherapy
PET (positron emission tomography) and molecular imaging technology allow your physician to measure cell and molecular activity within the body to detect cancer, heart disease and neurological disorders. PET/CT scanners combine the anatomical imaging supplied by CT with the confirmation of increased molecular and cellular activity provided by PET. The PET/CT image provides valuable information that can be used for early diagnosis, more accurate tumor detection and precise localization, improved biopsy sampling and better assessment of patient responses to chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Hysterectomy
UFE is an effective, non-surgical alternative to hysterectomy. The procedure takes less than an hour to perform, and requires only an overnight hospital stay. Most patients can return to work and normal activity in less than two weeks after undergoing UFE.
