Never eat there! My wife and I was there last weekend for lunch. My wife found a long dark hair in her food. Totally not cool. We ask to speak with the manager. The waitress said he was busy. We explain to her what happen and she said sorry and that was it.... LOL
I agree with the last review. The food is the same all the time. We been there 3 times since it opened. Not impressed with it that much. I prefer going to Dynasty Buffet better its as so located in Gastonia. We will never be back again..
P/S: I agree with the review from Chris.... I was the judge on that.

They opened with great promise. The buffet items were plentiful and constantly being replenished. The Hibachi available for lunch AND dinner a welcomed touch. But by far, the best sushi in town!
Our first two visits were very good. The egg rolls they served were the best I ever had. Crisp, light and full of flavor. They had to have been freshly prepared. It was like I had never tasted egg rolls before.
Sadly, our past few visits were not good. As with most Chinese Buffets in the area, they started going downhill. The attention to detail seemed to be lacking. The same items on the buffet every time. The egg rolls (sigh) were mushy, flavorless logs. BUT....the sushi still rocked!
My advice for the owner...if you can't occasionally add new items and rotate them at the size the buffet is now, then scale back. Offer fewer DELICIOUS items like you did at the beginning. I can't speak for all, but for me, I don't care to see pizza, mac and cheese and other "Everyday Food" on a CHINESE buffet. As for the kids, stop trying to accomodate them SO much. Sweet and Sour Chicken without the sauce is Chicken Nuggets. Plain white rice. Noodles. Fruit. Dessert. All of THESE things are for the kiddies who don't like Chinese. Leave off the pizza, mac and cheese and etc. so you can focus on more chinese dishes.
Another word of advice...Keep the Sushi Chef...he's awesome! But maybe give him a helper or two so he doesn't get burned out. And that might be some good advice for you, Tan. Stay on top of the kitchen/staff to keep it up to your good standards, but maybe think about training someone who can do that when you need to take a day or two off. Train someone you can trust, let them know it's your restaurant, your recipes and your way of doing things if they want to get paid. Crude as it may sound. In this economy people are only going to give YOU and your restaurant so many chances before they write you off as they did the previous business at your address. Just sayin.

NASTY, NASTY, AND NASTY!! Plus the managment staff is rude to the customers. You walk in and see tables available and the host will sit you at the bar if you are by yourself..... BEWARE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
this guy never ate there that day. He was told there was no table available at the time except the bar seats, he turned around and left. A few minutes later he called to threathen the business. You be the judge.

We've visted Micky Chows on two occassions in the short time it's been open and we were very pleased with the quality, presentation and upkeep of the food. With some buffet dining, food is not replentished until the last of it is gone, even if it is cold and not very appetizing. Not here, as they constantly monitor the food and keep it fresh. They have a very varied selection of dishes and they also have a hibachi grill (even at lunch!) with seafood, beef, chicken and pork. Usually the hibachi is saved for dinner only at most buffets. They also built a cool sushi bar that you can sit at and eat, and the sushi chef is front and center at the bar.
After several months of renovations, the interior was redone in a classic & contemporary Asian dark wood theme. This was a Chinese buffet before Micky's opened here, and if you remember what it looked like before, you'll be blown away by the improvements now. They are located near the intersection of Garrison Blvd and Union Road. Please give them a try, as I love Asian food and want to see Micky's stay around for awhile!
