Lovely Nails

They're really nice and I love how they do eyebrows. Dedicatedly the place to visit

Unfriendly, unprofessional and rude are the words that come to mind regarding my encounter with the staff at Lovely nails. I can't even blanket that statement to the staff, in particular the Owner/Mother of this establishment who does the eyebrows. Let's start at the beginning I was recommended by a friend who frequents this shop to have her eyebrows waxed. I decided to switch up and try this place out. I first arrived at 12noon, I was told that the staff that does eyebrows had stepped out and would not return for an hour. I should have just let it go at that point, but as always I try to follow up on a recommendation, I decided to go back after work... Fast forward to 6pm, I arrived, stated what service I needed and was sat inside the lackluster nail salon. I was told by the daughter that it would be a few minutes. No problem ;) I'll wait. About 3-5 minutes later the mother comes over, I showed her a picture of my eyebrow inspiration, advised her she could get them to look close if possible. She stared at me as if she hated doing eyebrows and didn't even smile. Her daughter translates that my eyebrows were uneven and she couldn't get it exactly like that. I reassured her not a problem, this is just a random pic that I found on the net and is just for inspiration purposes, and I know it will not be exact. Next thing I know she began walking around, adjusting nail polish, putting fans away etc. I'm thinking hmm is she ignoring me? (As always I try to give the benefit of the doubt and assume she is waiting for the wax to warm up). To my complete and utter dismay she told me she would not do my eyebrows and told me to go somewhere else, go across the street. I again assured her that I was ok that she could not do the exact picture I told her that my friend is a frequent customer and they look great. She repeated over to go somewhere else across the street, TERRIBLE experience and just to think I was planning on getting a pedicure and full set of gel nails the next day after work. I'll take my business elsewhere and will recommend others do the same!
