Cycle Gear

Spent 30 minutes in the store before anyone even acknowledged the fact I was in the store. Once I was able to get some help, I told the associate I was looking at buying my first bike and needed gear. The associate was very vague with the information he provided. I was looking at helmets and asked several questions, many of which I still don't have an answer to because he walked off and started helping someone else before finishing with me. I was ready to purchase a helmet and told him I was looking for something in the $300 price range. He continued to show me helmets below $100. I was somewhat insulted that he wouldn't show me something in my price range as if he had the impression I couldn't afford it. He seemed completely disinterested that I was in the store trying to make an educated purchase. After about 10 minutes of him helping this other person and wiping his hands of me, I left the store and have no plans to return. I am a sales manager at a company near by and if any of my sales people treated a customer this way they would be written up at a minimum.

Just had the worst experience with an associate because they wanted to argue over the fact he didn't know how to mount a tire properly. Red dots on sidewall go closest to the valve stem I told him, he said it didn't matter. Had him do it over the proper way and to his amazement he didn't have to put as much weight on it to balance it.....What a shocker...Don't go here to get your tires done, they hire incompetent help....if you must go to a Cycle Gear try another location.......Justin is terrible.
