Excellent Experience

After having a bad experience purchasing a pre-owned vehicle in San Diego a few years back I was extremely cautious about purchasing a new vehicle but Prestige put all my worries to ease. I purchased a hybrid vehicle which I knew little about- other than the hype- and I absolutely love it. It's everything they told me it would be. Great mileage, inexpensive to fill up and a dream to drive. I received EXCELLENT service, and a great price. The people that I worked with were sincere and honest and I have no problem with them gaining a profit- they earned it.

Totally Focused

I had a great experience. I will say I did my homework, knew where I stood, what I wanted and had my price range firmly in mind. They worked with me and since then when I had issues with my warranty, they stepped in and helped even tho they didn't have to. I'm am pleased. The last car I bought was so bad, that they were a pleasant surprise.

Service Sucks

We have been using this dealership for our fleet vehicles for years due to warranty and recall issues. EVERYTIME we go for a warranty we end up paying anywhere from 1-2k for repairs. So much for warranty. Also, several of our vehicles have had issues with the fuel tank Ford said that they did indeed know about the problem but that Ford refuses to warranty any of it. This fuel tank replacement cost us 3k every single time. They also told me that I need to pursue a class action lawsuit if I ever wanted anything to come of it. They also take it upon themselves to complete oil changes on our vehicles without advising us first. We never authorize oil changes as they are done in house. They charge to the tune of $115 for an oil change. They are a rip off in every aspect, from customer service, sales people, service tech, etc.

Major Ripoff

They were supposed to be running a 4 day special on used cars with various cars starting at just $5995. According to the flyer I recieved in the mail they were giving anyone who brought the flyer in a lottery ticket with could be worth up to $25,000. Since I was looking to buy a reasonably priced used car my son and I went there. I showed them the flyer which they quickly took away and disposed of which I thought strange. They then ran my sons credit and came back and said he had two cars and one would have to go right now. The salesman then proceeded to tell us how lying to him would be pointless he would get to the bottom of our story. I kept saying I just wanted to buy a used car. My son asked if they had any trucks and he said my son should not get a truck but get a car instead because trucks were too expensive for him. Instead of shopping for a vehicle we felt like we were there for psychiatric counseling. Finally I said so bottom line what do have for $5995 at which point they said nothing. We got up to leave and never did get a lotttery ticket but at this point I was so happy to get out of the dealership I probably would of bought them a lottery ticket. False advertising, outrageous prices and the absolute worst salesmen I have ever encountered in my life. I wouldn't go there again if they were giving away cars.

Be careful!

Do your research before setting foot inside this dealership! Know what you should pay (total price and monthly) and what your trade in is worth.



When we started negotiating, I had to ask again and again and again before they would talk to me about the total price rather than monthly payments. The first monthly payment the offered me included every extra cost option known to man. It was so high it seemed like I was paying them to take my trade in!



They will also try to sneak in the extended warranty if you are financing through them. They make it appear as if it is already included in the sell price. They also tried to play a shell game with my trade in value. and rebates, At one point, when I did the math, they were give me $0 for my trade-in.



Another annoying tactic is stalling. I guess they are hoping they wear you out. It took 6 hours from the time I stepped on the lot and I only drove one vehicle.



Also, when I reviewed the paperwork again a few days later, I discovered they only gave me one of the two rebates Ford was offering. So pay attention if you buy there.
