        Late mail delivery

        I would like to know why postage goes up and the postal service gets worse.

        It is not unusual to get mail delivery well after 5 p.m.



        I find this is unacceptable as I'm sure that any mail picked up from my mail box after 5 p.m. is not posted the same day.

        My recent visit to this place confirmed my suspicion from other shipping I had done there. Their mark up is extremely high. Today when I took a package to them I was quoted $85 shipping priority mail with insurance. I refused to pay their extorted prices and took my package to a local post office. The cost was $48.25 for the same package, same services. Originally I was told my package weighed 32 pounds, I knew it didn't and the post office confirmed that the weight was actually 16. I strongly suggest you do your homework before you entrust your shipments to your neighborhood shipping store. I saved $37 by taking it to the post office and having them ship it.
