Worst moving experience of my life! There is just too much to list. They had the same guys work for 23 hours straight. My kids didn't have beds, they fell asleep on the floor. They were supposed to put furniture where it goes but just dropped it anywhere including in my shed. They broke soo many things. Stole my (11 year old) sons money, damaged both houses with their recklessness. Said they would file an insurance claim and never did. Wouldn't respond to our calls, made us pay almost double the quote. Wouldn't leave until we paid - through PAYPAYL! (What legitimate company does that) They under estimated their hours and time. They were drinking on the move from one house to the next and reaked of alcohol. The worst part is they just dropped boxes where ever they felt like it. It took me months to just get the boxes in the right rooms only to discover that each box that they packed had items from all over the house in the same box. It was a disaster! Please, do not use this company.

I hired 3rd Coast Moving To move me into my 1st home which I found on movers.com. I got about 4 moving quotes within 20 minutes. Third Coast Moving emailed me an estimate that seemed reasonably quoted. The gentleman in the office

Horrible! The owner/manager gave me a quote on the phone and they seemed like a good price. He also told me drive time would not be included in the hourly rate and they would take a half hour courtesy time after the move to set up beds and any other furniture that needed it. All lies! He never told me there was a one-time service charge of $110, then drive time was included, and they did not put together any furniture afterwards. Not to mention the workers were slow and they scratched my wood floors!! Unfortunately, I could say much more on how awful this company was! I wish I used a reliable company because they were anything but that!

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Run away as fast as you can! I've never experienced such bad service in my life before! My family ordered 3 men and a truck to move my furniture and they purposely broke my $2300 new fridge and ripped the leather of my $1800 dinner set. Many of my expensive wooden tables and dressers were horrible scratched. When they were supposed to deliver the furniture to my new home, they took a lunch break and purposely damaged my furniture. One of the workers named Carl was so rude to the point that he made my mother cry. After My father paid him, he had the nerve to tell my family "Congrats on your new home, don't ever call the company again". My father called the manager to notify him of this horrible service and he isn't cooperating much. He paid them $700 and the workers lied to him saying I paid $500! These workers would take multiple 15 minute breaks smoking in their truck when they weren't supposed to. My family is planning on issuing a court case soon. I'm warning you, DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!

I was not impressed with 3rd Coast Moving even during the quoting process up front, and I'm glad I followed my instinct to hire a different mover. It had became clear there would likely be more waiting and wondering for me than actual moving going on, if I went any further with 3rd Coast. I felt that Damian made a certain effort, but ultimately was inconsistent and unfair; in fact he applied a certain kind of pressure to close the sale during what I think was our first telephone call. I believe the customer should not be placed under that kind of pressure – it doesn't support an impression of professional competence; in other words the feeling was that he was desperate to do the move. I also found some negative reviews online – so look around; apparently I'm not the only one. Either Damian's not a very good communicator, or he communicates more accurately than serves him well, in terms of instilling confidence in the customer. As I mentioned it felt like if I continued any further there would be a lot of speculation day-to-day on when the movers would actually arrive to get started. And who needs that? Not me, and I'm hoping not you, either. It's not like the estimated price was any (or much) better than the competition's, anyway. I recommend you keep looking for a mover, and follow your gut hunch! I've moved several times in my life, and I've learned that the way the quoting and communication process goes up front in the planning stage, is pretty close to how the actual move will go.
