Crofton Bike Doctor

Nice enough and they seem to know their stuff, A little pricey for the average biker. I suppose this place is the bomb for serious bikers

Absolute love this shop. As an avid Ironman triathlete the bike fit I got almost 2 years ago has been through 2 more IM's and is great. I purchased my tri bike Trek 9 series at that time too and love it. The maintenance has been great and never felt pushed into anything I did not want.

Every time I go into the Crofton Bike Doctor I have a good experience. The staff are kind and helpful without being pushy and I don't mind watiting to be helped by them if I go in and the store is busy. I am not an avid biker, just casual, but everyone who has helped me has respected that and worked with me to achieve my needs, I know that they have my best interest at heart and obviously want to share their passion for cycling with others, not just make a quick buck.

Decided to get back into biking after taking several years off to have a family and wanted to get my bike tuned up for a few races I've signed up this year.



These folks clearly DO NOT understand the term "customer service". They refused to honor the lifetime free tuning. Even though it had a Bike Doctor sticker on it they wanted me to produce a receipt from 2006....REALLY?? I was going to buy shoes, apparel and who knows what else but now I'll take my bike and business to Race Pace or Princeton Sports in Columbia.



I don't think Bike Doctor realizes that bad Customer Service will cost them more than what it would have cost them to do a simple tune up. I will NEVER recommend them to any of my fellow Tri athletes and bikers.
