Overall

I entered the store and was quickly greeted by an employee (none had name-tags so I will label him Employee A). I asked Employee A, if I could order an Italian BMT with bologna instead of pepperoni. He said he did not know and asked Employee C. Employee C said I could and walked off. As employee A was making my sandwich he began to add turkey instead of bologna. After I stopped him and reminded him I wanted bologna Employee B leaned over and said I could do that. I said that's fine, sorry about the mix up, I will simply take double ham instead. Employee A said OK, but that was where things really got worse. After Employee A rang me up (it say's clerk #12 on my receipt) I thought the total was a little high and looked over my receipt. It states:

1 6" Turkey and Ham $4.25

Add Bacon - 12" $1.50

The rest is correct as is but this made me very confused. I believed I was getting an Italian BMT, substituting the pepperoni for extra ham and since no employee corrected me I wanted an explanation. Unfortunately at that exact time a large group of about ten customers came in all paying as one. Now I work in customer service myself and I could relate that me complaining would have been an inconvenience. Therefor, I sat down, ate my sandwich, and decided to ask about it later. Now, like I said I work in customer service so I knew once I began eating that I would not get a refund but I was starving and trying to be nice. After the group had finished, I went up to the counter; not for a refund, but an apology or an explanation so that I wouldn't make the same mistake twice. I spoke with Employee B. He said I had received 4 pieces of ham and 3 pieces of salami and that's why I was charged that way. It still made no sense to me seeing as I was rung up for a different sandwich AND charged for extra bacon on a footlong. I tried to explain my confusion but it seemed Employee B was getting irate (he tossed my receipt back at me three times!) That's when I asked to speak to a manager. Lo and behold the worst customer service I have ever received. His reply was:

There is no manager here right now. The manager is only available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

I asked to speak to ANY manager (whom ever was in charge) and that's when again I was told there is no manager available. After that I just left. I honestly think it was because I am an african-american female. Wow. I will never eat here again.
