Carolina Cafe

Gorgeous place out in the country, the staff was all awesome and the FOOD wow!!!!!! I had the fried shrimp and rybeye and it was absolutely perfect
my wife had the killer combo and I had to have hers ,the ribs are delicious.
it's a. very busy place ,,,,, 1 bite and you and you'll understand why

Don't waste your time. If you are in a group of over 6...forget it. First come first serve is fine in most cases... But when you have 1 room to accommodate a large group and you make elderly and small children wait and your staff doesn't even offer something to drink for the kids and are too busy making excuses AND has no manager but does have an owner who will not take the time to speak with you when requested??? They don't care if they have my business or not... So DO NOT WASTE time if you are a larger group . Policy needs to be changed for that room . Make reservations and limit the time . Others need to eat !!! Stop making excuses folks. There is no excuse for making patrons wait. Senseless...I'll never go back nor any other member of my party...word of mouth goes a long way. Service out weighs food. And the food isn't worth a 2 1/2 hour wait !!!!!

David, i highly doubt that that is exactly how it happened. Carolina Cafe has a lot of business on fridays and saturdays, which is probably the day that you went when this experience happened. It was not smart on your part to take a large party into Carolina Cafe on a weekend and expect less than an hour or two wait. It is a first come, first serve policy for the "party room" so if you had a big party then you should have arrived there at four when they opened with everyone in your party present. The only reason that the hosts even ask if a party wants to split up is if the customer is complaining about waiting so they try to seat you faster, by putting people at smaller tables. Stop being ignorant.

This place can not seat a large group. 7 members of our group left and went to another restaurant. I can not review their food, but I can say the restuarant charged 18% gratuity to the remaining people who were not allowed to sit together. This is not accommodation. Shame on this restaurant for their unsavory practices. Please contact me and I can tell you where to issue refunds and make it right. Shame shame shame. I don't care if you have gold silverware, shame on you!
