Rude, unethical, and a definite scam.

Dropped by last night to sell some of my wife's designer maternity cloths.

We were told to expect $50 to $60 dollars much less than we expected but why not...we thought.

As we drove home we thought not bad.

Today I came by to collect my money and the clerk slapped four dollars on the counter and said take it or leave it I don't care.

What happened to my $50 dollars ?
Arms crossed and a smile on her face the clerk says we reserve the right to buy your clothing for what ever we want to.

I said this is a bait and switch and is illegal. Clerk says sue me

Please don't ever do business with these people they are crooks.

If I could give this a zero I would. I dropped off a bag full of name-brand nice clothes of my sons and they did not even go through the entire bag. They only took off a few things off.. And gave me $17 for those for $0.05. Not to mention these were Buffalo brand from Dillard's Under Armour ect. When I left I saw the rest of my bag of clothes sitting at the side of the counter that was never gone through. I was so Furious I will never go back to the store or sell anything to the store again. I will tell everyone I know in the area to never attend or sell anything to the store. They are a scam and this is terrible. I hope their business goes under.

I have taken way less to another consignment shop in the are and gotten way more. Kid to Kid made me feel sick to my stomach, they robbed me! I dropped off a truck bed full of clothes and baby gear. We had already donated the faded and worn clothes to Goodwill. What I dropped off were nice dresses and name brand clothes and shoes. 5 large tubs full. I know what quality looks like and I only left them with quality clothes. I got $92 back. Even my husband was shocked. Never again will I do business with them. While I was in the store, I added up around $200 of things I saw of mine for sale. Keep in mind, I went in to get my cash 7 days after I had dropped it all off. I'm assuming the best stuff already sold. There is a good consignment shop around Rosemeade and GB area. I dropped off there a couple of years ago and got $300 for way less stuff. Lesson learned! It's worth the drive.

Everyone else is great but the owner is very rude! Obviously doesn't know how to keep customers. Too many other resale shops around! No size 8 boys jeans either
